Red!

After a long, emotional election….maybe some of you are seeing red this morning.  Possibly, your candidate lost, or your initiative didn’t pass, or you had difficulty voting.  Whatever the reason, it is much better to wear red on the body than on the face!

I love this red pencil skirt!  I can style in many ways and wear it all year long!  This one is a ponte knit from LANE BRYANT.

It’s so easy to accessorize! and I am certain in warmer weather you will see me in this with white!
But, what is important here is to let go of any frustrations you have this morning during any segment of your life.  Focus on putting your efforts into the many great red fashions out there…or listen to Taylor Swift’s RED CD…I teach teens and I have heard it over and over and over again…until I began to see red…uh, oh back to clothes!  Whatever makes us see red, let’s just smile and seek

Have a glorious Wednesday!

  1. I'm a blue, but I love your red. And today, Red + Blue = Americans. And since, red mixed with blue makes purple, perhaps you could do a purple post and get us started in coming together. You look wonderful as usual. I love your blog.

  2. Pam, I love the pencil skirt on you. I really need to have a couple of those in my closet….
I should be headed back to work in a couple of weeks and my right let is still swollen so I was thinking knee length skirts and tights would get me thru the (hopefully) last stages of my debacle.
Hope you have a great day.

  3. I love red and gold. You don´t need me to say how I feel about you wearing a skirt and flauting those gorgeous legs of yours, yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh
I glad the elections are over. Obama has always been my man.

  4. I also love the pop of red in your skirt, and hope we can all come together in a lovely purple country!

I just read your post from yesterday, too, and have some clothes I was going to take to Goodwill, but I think I'll send them to Camp Olympia now. Maybe I can give up more sweaters – I'm sure they'll need them. Thanks for the info!

  5. Oh yes…..seeing all HAPPY HAPPY colors today!!!! Obama is a UNITER of all colors as well so we are on the right track IMO. Your red skirt is stunning and reminds me I need to get some red in my wardrobe!!!

  6. A red skirt ought to be on the must-have list for all wardrobes. It's stylish, can be remixed endlessly, and red is such a happy colour, brightening everyone's day! You look great in this skirt, especially with red and gold. They're just perfect for each other!

  7. Next time I go thrift shopping, I am going to specifically look for a red pencil skirt. I like the idea of having red away from my face because I don't think bright reds are flattering on me.
I am so glad the elections are done and over with. I was about ready to yank the phone out of the wall at home. So many political calls!

  8. A jolt of color really does work wonders. Red is my usual "go to" – but yesterday, I went for a deep fuchsia instead. Totally energizing!

But I do love a red pencil skirt…
