I thought I would close out this year by taking you to our
Texas BBQ Wedding Rehearsal. It was a
very intimate evening in a private home.
My husband’s father had hosted a rehearsal dinner for my husband’s best
friend (Mr. G) years ago, so Mr. G wanted to reciprocate and invited us all out
to his Lazy G Ranch for a down home country cookout. It was an amazing evening from grilled
chicken smoked in his secret sauce to a Smores bar around a fire pit.

Magazine-worthy decorations and spicy cooking were perfect
for a cold, Texas night and we really had a wonderful time. The menu also included jalapeno poppers and
Texas Pecan coffee. For the poppers,
just take hold of your jalapenos with rubber gloves, cut in half, take out the
seeds in the middle. Fill with cream
cheese, and wrap with bacon strips. Cook
at 425 degrees until bacon is crisp…yum!

I told you HERE I was going to be wearing Soft Surroundings all weekend. This sweater was the
western chic style I was seeking and I really loved it with my Coldwater Creek leggings and boots. I hope you enjoy the
pictures ; and I hope your celebrations this holiday season have been
joyous. I will return with some of the
wedding soon!!

Congratulations to your son and his bride! I'm so excited for your family. I was lucky enough to go to a wedding when I lived in Austin and it was one of the most fun weddings I've ever been to. I love me a Texas wedding! Best wishes to you and your family for 2013. XO, Jill

That looks like a lot of fun! I don't like jalapenos, but those poppers look like they'd be too good to pass up. Can't wait to see the wedding pics!
Thanks for your comment on my new blog.
Happy New Year Pam. What an exciting end to 2012 for you. Love all your lovely pictures.
Hi Pam! Happy New Year! Love that long jacket on you. And it's too funny that you wrote "Let's have more fun in 2013" in a comment on my blog. I just finished writing that on my own photo in photoshop for my next post! Great minds think alike I guess. 😉
Happy New Year Pam…wishing you and your family a FABULOUS 2013.
Thanks for popping by I loved your story about your daughter and her husband, how sweet.
With my love,

Congratulations to the young couple.
What a wonderful party you had and you were perfectly styled with this beautiful coat. A great idea to have a fireplace outside even in winter. I love to sit at the open fire.
Happy New Year dear Pam!
It looks like you had a lot of fun, and that there was a lot of stylish women including you at the party! Wishing you all the best for 2013!
