4 Considerations for that JUST RIGHT Hairstyle

Yes, these are illustrations of the original girlfriends of Ringo, Paul, John, and George…so, what does that have to do with my hair…you will have to go HERE at Generation Fabulous to find out!!

It’s been quite a journey with my hair, and here is what the wonderful, NINA FORREST from Monday’s POST told me about her hair,

(FYI, I decided to go gray a number of years ago because I just got tired of the coloring process. My daughter and hairdresser said it would make me look “older” and I decided if that were the case, I really didn’t care. When it finally turned completely gray, everyone loved it and when I went to my high school reunion, a number of classmates told me they liked my hair so much, they were going to do the same thing. Now I also color it purple in the front and get “I love your purple hair” wherever I go!)

That’s how one fabulous women sees it! Please read the post and tell me what you think!  Have a wonderful Tuesday, all!!

  1. Wise words! What a trip down memory lane….. Dorothy Hamil wedge anyone? Toni Tennille pageboy? Guilty.
I'm like you, Pam. I've found my signature style and I'm thrilled. One less thing to worry about!
I've decided that (to steal from a popular commercial) "I'm worth it." I have a cut and a stylist I love and there is such peace in not stressing out every 6 weeks over my hair. Instead it's a time to relax and feel pampered. I've earned it 🙂
    Hugs,
    Renee

  2. I always say I'm going to let my hair turn gray but I always end up dying it again. For me personally, I feel younger without so much gray hair. To each his own.

  3. Here in the tropics of Mexico, long hair is the norm, as it always can be pulled up or behind, and still look classy (and cool). And the humidity has caused my hair to be more wavy. I'm not yet ready to go gray. I consider coloring my hair like shaving my legs…just gotta do it no matter how annoying.

  4. I will NEVER EVERRRRRRRRRR let my hair go grey. Why do so when therw are so many wonderful shades of colour? LOL.
That is just me inherited from my mother who hated white hair.
    Have a laovely day, Pam.

  5. I am getting more salt-and-peppery every year, but I have decided not to color my hair. For the most part, I am very happy with my decision, but I realize that I am in the minority. But I always cheer when I see a stylish grey haired lady with a great cut. My hair is trimmed every four weeks to keep it looking its best. Yeah for us grey haired ladies. 😉

  6. I keep saying I'll let my silvers out some day, but that "day" is always down the road! : > I am loving blonde for now, but admire a great silver head of curls.

  7. I had my hair every way, short, long, curly, permed, straight + i tried all colors name i was, blonde, red, and a brunette- every time a new person, for me, hair is a major accessory- Now, i shaved my hair and loving it, but i noticed people don't know what to think about a shaved head- I say for me right now it's the ultimate experience – You need a lot of confidence to do that – I'm proud to say i have it, it was not always the case – I'm definitively on the right path of life!
    Plus it's so liberating!

  8. Good points in the blog, I'm not grey yet, and it will probably be some time before I get grey, it just doesn't happen in my family. I am going with the natural flow of my hair and have been for over thirty years. Be true to yourself and you can't go wrong.
