Goodwill: Keeping My Jeans Fun!!
I am not certain if I meant the car…shopping at GOODWILL…or ME! But, we are oldies and goodies!! (This is my son-in-law’s car which he fondly calls Deloris)
I have confessed before I love my dark denim trouser jeans and would wear them day after day if I could.
With Goodwill, I almost could make that happen and have a different jean look every day. On my recent treasure hunt there, I found the new Chico’s snake patterned vest I am wearing in the top pictures (tags still on) and the brown travelers tank…both were in Julia’s Attic (Highway 281 and Bitters location). If you are like me, and you prefer the old knit of Chico’s Travelers to the new knit, then Goodwill is the place to look.
I also like Coldwater Creek for denim. This orange knit top and the blue blouse below are both from there. I found this Karen Kane subdued check jacket which I really, really like and know I will wear often…love the longer length!
Goodwill has me in a great place to begin a new school year teaching in fabulous style!!
Have a joyful

GREAT finds one and all.
(smiling) I call myself an oldie but goodie, emphasis on the "good" : > Wonderful finds here, Pam, everything looks completely new and of-the-moment. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday!
Hi Pam! I love vests so much right now, that is a score on the snake print! Let's call it a "waist coat" because it is femininely dapper, don't you think? 🙂 xoxox
Love the snakeskin print top, Pam. You got some great goodies. I love that I can find these brands while thrifting (and they look new or sometimes are new w/ tags) at a fraction of the cost of retail…even if it were on sale. I've started my fall season wardrobe too.
Of all your finds, my favorite is the Karen Kane jacket. ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My daughter and I are going to hit the local thrift shops on Tuesday. I hope we're as successful as you were!
What a darling car!
I love blazers this year – and am even wearing one on my blog today.
Thrift shops have loads of them!
Wow, that car is fantastic! I may be a style blogger, but I love cars too 🙂 And "oldie but goodie" is cute, but you are NOT old. You certainly seem to be good – definitely at thrifting, haha!!! Fantastic finds!!

love this outfit, great finds
You found some real treasures! I don't see why you can't wear your jeans all the time…EXCEPT when you're teaching. Now that I'm retired (from teaching, too), I wear jeans pretty much daily!
Great finds….great look! Hope you could hop on my blog sometime soon!

Yes i agree Oldies are the Goodies and your certainly a Goodie!
I don't own a single pair of jeans! Can you believe that?
You look good in those denim!
Like the outfits. Always nice to get a bargin.
Dear Pam,
You have me wearing more and more jackets, and I love the new look I am putting together. We have a SAVER's Donation shop and if you look carefully there are quite a few Chicos and Jones new York! Oh and I found a gorgeous medium blue jacket with the cutest cut that is Eileen Fisher.
I don't spend time looking for jeans because they are all mixed together Short, Petite, Reg and Long and I do need petite.

You are my idol when it comes to finding treasures. You always look so classy and put together, you must be the best dressed teacher on staff.
Your latest Goodwill finds provide many possibilities with the jeans that fit you like a glove. No wonder why you want to wear them daily! Comfortable yet chic, standing ned to Delores.
Great point regarding finding the preferred Chicos knit at Goodwill. Love the snakeskin!
Two great looks, particularly love the jackets with the jeans!! Hope you have a wonderful school year.
You got some wonderful versatile items Pam!! You know i love the Goodwill–where else can I find Chico's, JonesNewYork and SagHarbor for under $5???
Love your finds! Every time I read your blog, I resolve to go to Goodwill more often. I've yet to find something really special there, maybe because I go so rarely!

I would love to go shopping with you my friend. Wishing you a wonderful new school year xo
I so love to see you in a fitted jacket .. or two! Perfect, both of them. So fun to wear with jeans, of course.
Sophisticated and very flattering!
I have found some lovely Coldwater Creek pieces in thrift and consignment stores here. Never seen the brand in stores, though.
I am always in awe of the fabulous deals you find
Never such luck for me.
Great looks you have going on

You certainly know how to shop lovely Pam. Such deals and steals! There is nothing like a shiny new outfit or chic piece to help us get in the gear for back to school times-right??
