From Goodbye to Hello…The Circle of Life
Last week was when I said goodbye to my mother…it is actually quite a story …I am sure I will tell when all processing has ceased.
But, the morning after she passed, my daughter asked me to photograph my grandson in his costume. It was one of those moments.
Moments you are struck by how quickly things change.
Moments you are touched by the heritage your own family established.
Moments when you realize the circle of life goes on.
Have a glorious Sunday!

Pam, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom passing. I wish that I had some words of wisdom, but I'm still struggling through my Father passing last month. For me it's strange because my Dad lived several states away, so my every day life hasn't changed drastically. But I'm always thinking "I'll have to tell Dad about this" or "I need to call Dad". It is so hard to believe he's not here any more. Most days I still can't wrap my head around it.
One thing that does give me solace is that my Dad had a good life for the last 30 years or more. Because of my stepmom he travelled and had a woman he loved to share things with. I hope that your Mom also had a good life and that brings you some peace.
Feel free to email me anytime you feel like talking. My email is on my about page of my blog. God bless,
Donna

Precious one…..I had to run over here immediately to see you. My mum died 27 years ago. And I consider myself verbose, prolific when it comes to CHATTING and emailing, blogging and such, but poetry? It takes a life-time. But to tell the story of our lives takes time.
I am crying here, as I see your beautiful momma. You have her smile! Keep smiling, let her beauty live in you. Process, be still, and know that GOD is the giver and receiver of our lives. I am so sorry to hear of this loss, so recent. We have one another to cheer up, to inspire, to help one another. Thank you for taking the time to come visit – be still. Anita
I'm sorry to hear this Pam. It's so hard, isn't it? I lost my Mom a few years ago too and it is just being able to pick up the phone and call that is so hard. Hope you have good memories and get to spend extra time with your daughter and beautiful grandchild.

So sorry Pam. I saw your posts last week and new something was up. We had a tragedy here in our hometown; no so close to home as yours but I had a long week too. Love these photos tho. My best to you in the time ahead. xoxo

Oh Pam, I am so sorry for your loss. It is hard to let go of our mothers. I knew that my mom prayed for me every day and when she was gone I felt a deep loss. All this summer I would remember her for she loved summer and picnics, fresh corn and tomatoes. Praying for comfort for you.
Thinking of you at this difficult time. Best wishes, Susan

Sorry to hear about your mother. Your grandson is precious indeed.
I am so sorry for your loss. It is very difficult to lose your mother, and there are many days that it gets easier but she is always there. I lost my mom 13 years ago and my dad 2 years ago, and I still think of them often (dreamed of them last night, actually). Your little one is precious, and they are so much fun! Take time for yourself to get through this.
