Warm, Delicious, Weekend Treat!

Happy Saturday, everyone!  If you are counting calories, then, don’t read further!  But, if you are entertaining and in need of a super delicious, warm treat….super easy…then read on…..

Pour two cans of your favorite pie filling into a baking pan sprayed with a non-stick spray.  I like to use Peach Pie Filling!  Crumble on top any dry, yellow cake mix.  Cover with your favorite chopped nuts…I like walnuts!  Melt two sticks of butter and pour all around the top.  Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes or until top is golden brown.

Your guests will believe you to be a real chef and a genius…protect your secret!!

Have a wonderful day everyone!!  Enjoy autumn!  See you tomorrow for fun fashion!

  1. Sooooooo easy! Even I can do it- I'm not much of a cook. I need to figure out serving size and then I can calculate WW points. Will try to do this today and will share with your readers. Counting calories (points) doesn't necessarily mean losing out on all the treats, even if the treat is just a small sampling.

  2. I have a recipe that's similar but calls for pumpkin pie filling. And you're right, it's AMAZING. Once I took it to a party. People were pretty snobby because it didn't look like much, but once they tasted it they were going back for more. I'm going to have to try it with peaches. Sounds yummy.
