SPRING FORECAST 2014: KIMONOS AND ROSES!
Today, I am joining the ProFlowers Spring Look Campaign! There are two trends immediately evident this upcoming season…kimonos and florals.
So, with my vintage rose kimono, and a rose necklace (I discovered in a fun little boutique about three years ago), I am able to participate in the fun! Spring is the perfect time to think of flowers…whether placing them throughout the house or wearing them throughout the wardrobe.
I really love kimonos and they are showing on several sites…many with floral patterns. This look is perfect for dinner with the husband, movies with the girls, attending an art show, or just fun at the mall. And I also really love roses…if I want to send some, I click HERE…if I want to wear them, I reach for these items in my closet.
Since we are all improving with age…here is a rose which has been on my desk since Valentine’s Day…I believe it is still gorgeous as it dries…definitely improving with age!
Does anyone else have a kimono or colorful florals already in your closet?
Now, I am linking up HERE WITH SHARE-IN-STYLE!!
I know florals are huge for spring
I think the Laura Ashley days put me off of florals
I may have one shirt in my closet
I am hoping to be inspired once spring actually hits

Yes florals are so wearable for spring and you look lovely in this piece! Just bought a floral dress, now I need the spring weather.

Florals are not for me either, but I do like the style and flow of the kimono. I wonder if a solid would still qualify.
LOVE your kimono, Pam! It's really pretty and such a versatile top!
I don't have a kimono but I do really like this look & it's always good to try something new!
Florals I have quite a few but only limited kimonos, which are packed away with my holiday clothes. Time to sort them out I feel.

Florals don't look good on me but you look fantastic! I do have one dress with mint teeny weeny flowers that I can get away with!
I have noticed the floral trend and am glad to see it. I do have florals (mostly for spring and summer, though I have this GORGEOUS Talbots sweater, thin fabric, that is black with red roses on it and I just feel wonderful in it.) I find that for me anyway, scale is important. I look overwhelmed in very large floral prints, but can do medium florals like your wonderful kimono (which I have zero of!). I love that kimono and if it was in my closet, it would be coming out often! I think the black space between the roses creates a great balance in the print. Very classy outfit! Karen
I love dark florals like this, Pam. I think a kimono is timeless, and it's great to see them back in the shops! xox
What I love about kimonos is their flattering length. I don't have one, but I sure plan to buy one afer seeing yours. You always look great in this stuff!
Love the kimono, love the look. You wear it well. ~M
That looks lovely on you. I just can't wear florals, but I do like the idea of kimonos.
Really lovely kimono. It can be tough finding a chic floral that doesn't look matronly. Beware the cabbage rose:) Sue
Love your kimono and I love florals. Wish I could wear them on my top half. I play it safe and wear them as a skirt. You look lovely.
Thank you sooooooooooooooo much for sharing your lovely style, my dear Pam.
Happy Sunday.

I adore kimonos and your's is very cute. I have several "kimono-type" tunics and one genuine Japanese kimono (black, white and red). Just search my blog with the word Kimono and the second post that comes up, is the one.

Cute! I like these dark moody florals as transition pieces between seasons. They work really well to bridge the style gap. Cheers! Deborah
