Jenny Craig: Success is Eating It All!

This week I had to go into JENNY CRAIG two days early, because of the holiday weekend ahead.  So, literally, the scales did not move.  At least, I did not gain!! I also found out that I made a mistake in the last week by NOT eating breakfast.  I thought it was good not to eat if I wasn’t hungry…but on this diet, it is better to eat and stay on the plan in order to gain success and stave off hunger the entire day.

They are prepared for most of us to get off the plan for the 4th of July…so Jenny Craig created a handout with a healthy meal suggestion.  My husband just returned from Alaska with fresh caught halibut….this is the plan for our holiday…a fish grill!

The meal above is one of my favorite lunch options…the CHICKEN SALAD KIT with applesauce.  I usually add some type of salad side.  It is also great with pineapple!  The BEEF AND CHEESE SLIDER and TURKEY BURGER are also lunchtime favorites.

What meals do you have planned for the this holiday weekend?

Have a wonderful Wednesday, all!
*I was provided a free trial program, and free Jenny’s Cuisine® items. Currently, I purchase their food at a special rate.   However, the opinions and writing are entirely my own.
Members following the Jenny Craig program, on average, lose 1-2 lbs per week

  1. That chicken salad looks delicious, as well as those tomatoes that appear to have some kind of seasoning…yum! I'm not kidding myself, I know for a fact that one of the days over the holiday weekend I will eat more than I should. I don't believe one day can wreck an on-going healthy eating plan, so I try not to beat up on myself and instead just enjoy what comes! My solution is to go for a really long walk or a hike in the woods – may not compensate for all the extra treats, but it makes me feel good! Karen
