Jenny Craig: Big Results! Big Offers! Big Information!
It has been a delicious week for me with JENNY CRAIG! Yes, of course, the MEAL PLAN is delicious, but the best part is I lost 2 more pounds…bringing the total to 14.4 pounds!! Woo Hoo!
This picture is a typical evening meal for me…Jenny’s entree (like this SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS) and a bowl of GREEN GIANT STEAMER VEGGIES! Yum! I also will mix it up with a fresh green salad!
There are several specials going on at Jenny Craig right now. Call the number on the flyer to check out the ways you can save money and get the meal plan started for you! Also, you may be able to partake in a free thirty day workout plan at Curves!
Speaking of workouts….something I have not been able to give up during my new diet is my morning coffee…complete with a dash of Fat Free Hazelnut Coffee Cream. I have always worried this might hurt my workout…because, as you can see, I have a big cup first thing when I rise and then go to the gym. But, this week, I learned at my doctor’s office that it might actually help my workout and help my weight loss. Read the article HERE! Apparently, new research came out over the summer to support this. Whew! I feel better!
And…I do feel much better with 14.4 pounds gone! Thanks Jenny!
Congratulatons on your continuing success Pam! It must feel wonderful to be accomplishing this! I really admire you for sticking with the workouts. That is what I find most difficult. You are doing great!!
you are inspiring,I so need to get back on track with diet and exercise.
Congratulations on your weight loss Pam. I understand the need for that coffee first thing in the morning. I find it helps me work out better too- so I agree with you on this point. However, I disagree with the creamer. I am going on an assumption that you are using a prepared product so if I am wrong please say so. Look at the ingredients list . I would love to see you make this for yourself: Its not my recipe but I have done similar. The dates do give sweetness and its natural. Its a bit higher in calories because of the "real nuts" but for those calories you are getting good fats, protein and fiber.
1 cup raw hazelnuts (soaked at least 10 hours in water)
2 cups of filtered water (extra 1 cup if you prefer a thinner consistency)
1 tsp pure hazelnut extract (or vanilla)
4 pitted dates (or 3 tbsp maple syrup, raw honey, coconut sugar, liquid Stevia)
pinch of sea salt
Soak hazelnuts in water overnight. Discard the water and rinse nuts well.
Place all ingredients in your Vitamix (or high speed blender) and start blending at low speed. Slowly accelerate to high speed until all of the nuts are completely pulverized – about 1 minute total is all it takes.
Strain the milk through a nut milk bag. Just pour the milk into the cloth and squeeze.
Keep the creamer in a sealed glass jar in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Best Wishes for your continued success
This sounds amazing, Barbara…I am going to try it! Thanks…you are just full of great information!
I am happy to help Pam. It's my passion. I have found the key to success is not to restrict people but to meet them where they are and with good nutritional alternatives. It is not calories that hurt us but the nutrition If you dont give the body the nutrition it needs, it still thinks its hungry. Be Well my friend!
Congrats to you!!
Congratulations!
Well done! Losing weight has been challenging for me but losing 1-2lbs / week, though REALLY slow, is something I'll be more than happy to take at this stage in my life. Thanks for sharing your success, Pam! It's inspiring me to keep trying 🙂

Hi, great post, congrats on weight loss. I have stalled. I wake up everyday and vow to not slip, and somehow at the end of a long working day, I come home and snack and pour a glass of wine, uugghh, so frustrating to ignore my goals. Anyway, thanks for the post, it is helpful to see the inspiration. I think I might try again posting about my challenges as well. I haven't done a post on this in a while because I have been embarrassed that I slipped, but this post has given me some new motivation. thanks for this. Cheers, Nancy
You're looking great! I don't want to give me my morning coffee either. I workout in the morning and I can't imagine getting myself going without it!
