  1. Hi! I could start by losing the extra poundage that I acquired over 2014! The next thing I could do is take my glasses off whenever I look in the mirror!! Happy New Year. Love your blog.

  2. I think red lipstick is the key. The women who wear it — and they are mostly older — really exude confidence in my humble opinion. Working on joining that club of red-lipstick-wearing-confident-ladies-in-their-forties-and-above.

  3. After 48 years of believing otherwise, I finally know that I am beautiful. Whether I know my beauty is internal, external, or both, is for my own fulfillment 🙂

  4. I really like this quote from Stacy. I do worry about some women who use their beauty as their only asset. Unfortunately as we age there will be always be a 20, 30, 40 year old that is better looking and if your only asset is beauty it will be a tough adjustment.

  5. Consistently following my facial skin care regimen helps me feel beautiful. One thing I am working on due to backsliding is wearing a nice outfit when I go out (even to the grocery store) instead of a frumpy sweatshirt and jeans.
Can't wait for Stacy's new show!
    Great post.

  6. I am…I like who I am and don't want to get skinny or even change my face! Thank you for asking. That is why I do not have a resolution for 2015…only a word. It is ANTICIPATION! Each year or even day is a gift!

  7. For me I love the quote from Coco Chanel "beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself" My beauty begin on the inside and being me is part of it. That beauty shines on the outside and taking care of myself by eating healthy and working out makes me feel beautiful.

  8. What a great post! And, of course, inward beauty is even more important than the outside 'wrapping.' Thanks for the food for thought. 🙂

  9. Beauty does start from the inside and how we feel about ourselves; however Yes, a red or bright deep shade of lipstick does help!
