Would You Wear It Wednesday: Short Pant, Short Jacket
Yes…it is Wednesday…and I have so enjoyed reading your thoughts each week on the featured outfit. There were lots of different reactions last week!
This week tell us:
1. What do you think of the pants…stripe, length, width etc.
2. What do you think of the short jacket?
3. How do you feel about the pattern mixing?
I can’t wait to hear! Thanks so much for participating!
Happy Wednesday all!!
Hi Pam! This is such a fun exercise. I would feel a bit too on display in this look. I really enjoy a longer jacket with leggings. Have a great week!
I would not wear it. I do like slimmer pants for sure, and the stripe is fine. I might wear them, but not with the jacket. The jacket is too short for me. Pattern mixing is fine, that's not the issue here. I would wear the pants and shirt without the jacket, maybe with a scarf or long necklace. The outfit looks fine, just not for me! Karen
Love the pants and the jacket…….but not together!
The jacket is nice, I eould wear it. The trousers… No way. Skinny trousers might look nice on tall, slender girls (as in: pretty young things), but big-hipped, short middle-aged women like me would just look like a clueless fashion victim….
I have yet to try short jackets–not sure they'd be flattering on me. I'm fine with short pants, but not sure that super tight look would work on my overweight body!
love the pants and pattern mixing. not excited about the jacket itself style wise… prefer slim fitting stuff. Outfit overall seems a bit too contrived. Look forward to seeing more ideas!
I think Kate Moss is one of the few people on the planet who could pull off this look. XO, Jill
If only the jacket were long and covered more–an essential for me. I like the pattern mix and the pants but the short jacket is a non-starter for me.
I like the patterns and the mix, but that short jacket would make my huge top look even bigger. CAn't do them.
I think the jacket makes it too busy. I would love to wear it without that.
No definitely would not suit my figure. Not sure I like the proportions.
I love this outfit. I think is chic and trendy. The shirt is too sheer for me, but I like the style and length of it. I would wear it with a more opaque shirt.
Love the pants. Not so sure about the jacket.
I think it's cute! Not sure I could pull the look off, but my teen likes to mix patterns, and it looks good on her. 🙂
I would if I could! The proof would happen in the dressing room. But I love it and I can dream can't I?
I like the pants and shirt.
I don't like the short jacket.
Unless you are 7 ft. tall, it will just cut you wrong and make you look dumpy

I love pattern mixing, and have been trying to incorporate more of it in my outfits. I love the pants, but I'm not sure the jacket would look good on me.
Love the pants and the blouse. That jacket would have to go.
I love everything about this outfit except the leather trim on the jacket. Short, tight leather jackets are "in" right now, I'd rather wear a leather jacket than this.
First of all thank you for hosting another week of your fabulous link up! Every time I come here I get sooo hungry because of all the yummy ideas here! This outfit? I love it. The striped pants are very subdued didn't even notice at first. Have a great weekend Pam! xo Sabina @Oceanblue Style
I love everything about the outfit. It is perfect for a mannequin or a very tall & slim 40 yr old. Not for me anymore, I would have been all about it 15 yrs ago.
Skin tight, pinstripe jeans were "in" when I was 12. I know because I drew a mannequin wearing them. Yup, I liked to design outfits even then. That said, at 44, I find them too "tricked out" to be timeless. The jacket and the jeans are too decorated and therefore too "gimmicky" for my taste. The short pants would look bad on my short, curvy figure, but I think the length could look elegant on a taller, slim woman of any age. Despite all my criticisms, I would and do wear toned down variations on this look: skinny jeans, longer blouse, moto jacket. It's all about finding the variations on looks that work for you.
Yep, in a heartbeat.
