Jenny Craig: Making Traveling Doable…Plus First Day in LA
Yes, this CHERRY CHOCOLATE WALNUT BAR was my breakfast in-flight the morning I left for LA. Though there were fabulous eateries, all with delicious foods…
I still lost 1/2 pound! Great results with JENNY… Reasons? I think because I supplemented the trip with items from my Jenny Craig food plan and because my stomach really has shrunk…I am satisfied now with much smaller portions! And feeling great as I entered downtown LA!
Jenny Craig has given me hope that I will keep the weight off this time. Now, I am back home, I am back on the full plan…I have more to go and inspired to get it done!
Here are some of the images which caught my attention the first day…enjoy just a touch of the downtown area…and
Thanks for sharing these great photos. Congratulations on keeping your weight down. You look super!
You look great Pam! I'm sure you feel great too, and how we feel is a huge part of weight loss, I think. I will be traveling next week and realize how easy it is to indulge in some of the local fare, but I will also be sticking to my eating plan and I'm taking my laptop and DVDs so I can keep up with my exercise program in the hotel room. While I am not one to completely deprive myself (doesn't work for me!), coming home feeling sluggish and feeling guilty is no fun at all, so I keep this in mind when I'm traveling! You have come so far, and to have accomplished so much, it sort of feeds on itself and makes you want to keep going, don't you think? Karen
You look fabulous and the photos are wonderful. The trip sounds like it was quite an experience and I can't wait to learn more.
Great photos, Pam! You've done so well with Jenny Craig and it shows.
High five for being so disciplined! Great pics too. Can you tell me more about the sepia-toned one w/ the owl? I'm quite intrigued…
Hi Mithra, This was a sign on the glass of a beauty salon inside THE STANDARD hotel on 6th street. I also was intrigued with the image and just had to shoot it!
After New York City, LA is my favorite city in the United States. I never get tired of LA! I want to wish you a Happy Valentine's Day, dear Pam, thank you so much for your friendship! XO, Jill
You did get some great pictures! BTW – what camera did you use?
Hi LA friend, these were done with that little SONY digital you saw me using. I love that little camera….makes me look like I know what I am doing!
So happy that you had such a good time!! I really don't know how you do it all Pam!
Happy Valentine's weekend!
xoxo

Pamela you look great!
Nice pics too 🙂
That top photo really is amazing with the way you captured the lines and angles. Glad you had fun and got to meet my sis
Thanks, Kymberly! Can't wait to meet you too in Nashville! This photo was taken from the patio of our hotel, The Standard. The yellow is from the umbrellas. I just looked up and saw everything and loved it! Thanks for stopping by!
Congratulations Pam! I loved looking at all these fun LA pictures. I grew up in southern California, so they made me a little nostalgic. Thanks for sharing, and have a great trip!
You look fabulous. Congratulations!! I love your photos. You've got a great eye!
Happy weekend.
I love your blog! It is so encouraging and informative – especially for someone like me! I tend to stay so focused on my work that I don't look around me and pay much attention to my fashion sense. Thanks so much for sharing and for being our lovely co-host at the Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop ;o) See you again this coming week! Nina @ Vintage Mama's Cottage
Great pics, thanks for sharing.
Great that you had such a fabulous trip AND stayed on track!
