Confidence is Not One Dimensional

Recently, I was asked by a woman why I wrote about more than fashion.  This new blogger was wondering why I did more than just post a different outfit every day and would not just stick to the clothes.   Why was I more into lifestyle blogging….

On my blog, you are likely to find products for improved health, book reviews, beauty products, tips about hair care, and also inspirational thoughts…. many facets of our lives midlife and beyond; as well as, ideas and inspiration for clothing.

The reason is simple…we are not one dimensional.  In order to experience joy and success later in life, we must care and give attention to the total package.  Though it was later in life I learned this….at least I learned it.
The ability to be completely confident involves all of the pieces working together on our behalf.

There will always be an emphasis here on the clothing and personal style I love so much…but, you will also find more…no apologies for that…in fact, I think it is necessary.  I hope to keep you informed and inspired in 2016 so you can be your best, confident YOU!

Remember to join JENNIFER and me tomorrow for HIT YOUR STYLE SWEET SPOT…we have something fun for you to do!

Until Then, Happy Saturday!

Outfit…Many of the exact pieces are not currently available…will link directly when possible…

  1. There are many facets that make up our lives, and since we (bloggers) talk about something everyday, it is natural to expand into the different areas. I like that you are multi-dimensional.

  2. i'm a regular reader of your blog and really enjoy the mix of ootd and lifestyle posts. i like to hear about new products to try and have been very interested in your reinvention, especially over the past year. please keep it up!

  3. Please don't stop with the multiple facets of your blog. None of us is one dimensional. How boring would that be? Same with your blog. Keep on doing what you do so well. Hope you are feeling better and on the mend.

  4. I'm much more drawn to lifestyle blogs than fashion-only blogs. I really enjoy the mix! Looking forward to tomorrow's post; it's always fun to read both of your interpretations!

  5. I won't stop, Linda! I was asked why and explained it to a younger blogger in my city…but I like covering the whole picture! I am on the mend and feeling better…but still must be careful not to overdo!

  6. Thank you Andrea! I also look forward to it…I love doing this with Jennifer and not knowing in advance what she is doing…we have mimicked each other a couple of times, but usually it brings several options to the challenge. Thanks for so much for reading.

  7. I think outfit-only blogs are so boring. I don't read them anymore. I really prefer a more diverse scope of writing that encompasses fashion, jewels, books and ideas! And what a weird question to ask someone–why they blog on more than just clothes. Keep doing what you are doing Pam! Also, nice necklace! xx

  8. Hi Jill…keep in mind, she is younger…to be labeled a "fashion Blogger" is better than to be labeled a "lifestyle blogger." I like being both! Thanks for the support! I have a huge hatbox full of necklaces I keep…love the pull this one out from time to time…the colors are unique for necklaces!

  9. The fact that you write about more than fashion is what keeps me coming back! In fact, you may remember that I continued reading your blog during the 5 month period that I lived in China when I could read the text, but not see the pictures! I appreciate the way that you encourage and inspire women to be the best that they can be in every aspect of life.

  10. I enjoy your blogs so much and they have inspired me to transform from a frumpy woman to a woman of confidence. I have lived in uniforms and scrubs my entire life and always had a weight problem. Now that I am retired, I am losing weight and realizing that I do not have a sense of style…..other than frumpy. As I lose weight and rebuild my wardrobe, I have found your photos, blogs, products, and connections to other blogs are helping me transform to a woman of confidence and style. I can not thank you enough.
