  1. I watched this last night and really enjoyed it. Exercise is so important, especially as we proceed through life. Flexibility is important, heart health, balance and coordination, everything. To be honest, I don’t like to work out. I do it 5 or 6 days a week, but I wouldn’t say that I like it. I just discipline myself because I know if I don’t I’ll end up frail. My friend and I have talked about joining Silver Sneakers when we retire (we’re the same age) which will enable us to use many facilities (even when traveling) for free. I have found that for me, variety is key. I get bored so easily with the same workouts and changing things up keeps me sticking with it. In your video you emphasize that just walking in the door is the biggest hurdle to get over. So true!!!

  2. What a great video and important message. I make my exercise routine my daily priority and at age 70 I can’t believe the difference it makes in the way that I feel. Thank you for covering this important topic.

  3. I have not heard of Silver Sneakers. I am going to check this out for a story! Thanks for sharing Karen

  4. Great video and important message.I walk my dogs every day and get to the gym 4 or 5 times a week.I also do a yoga session each week. Some days it is hard, especially if I have not slept well, but I always feel better afterwards. It is how exercise makes me feel that is addictive to me.I also like the benefits of being flexible, reasonably toned and strong.

  5. Love the video Pamela and I SO agree with you! I’m almost 57 years old and was diagnosed with osteopenia last year. My doc said “Get out there… hike, walk, run…” So I did! When I enter a 5K and finally stumble over the finish line, I almost feel like a teenager again 😀

  6. That’s awesome, Karen…you go girl! I do not know if I will ever do a 5K but I am very proud of my progress!
