I wouldn’t mind looking like Susan Lucci.  She shares her diet and workout tips in this article from Woman’s World.

I am not sure what to think about these new findings on baking soda.  What do you think?  Would you eat it for these reasons?  Read the article on baking soda HERE.

I am excited to tell you that I was recently quoted in an article in Woman’s World about swimsuits.  They caught me a little off guard at a busy time, so I was not able to send a picture with it.  But, I am still honored to be included in the article with other over 50 bloggers.  READ THE SWIMSUIT ARTICLE HERE

Each year during the month of May, my friend (she’s a life coach!) Sheree Clark of Fork in the Road hosts an interview series around a particular topic. And since May is on the horizon, she has announced It’s Your Time: Turning the Midlife Crisis into Your Midlife Awakening, which launches Tuesday, May 1st.

This year’s event will feature a different expert each day. These thought leaders will address all sorts of topics – things like:

  • Managing alcohol
  • Transitioning to a new chapter in life
  • Meditation and mindfulness
  • Cancer prevention
  • Brain health
  • Mind/body connections
  • Rekindling your creativity

…and that is just the tip of the iceberg!

And guess what? I am one of her featured experts…my interview will air on May 6th.

To be a part of this free event, simply go here: http://www.midlife-newlife.com/Lutrell Can’t make it for part of the series? No problem, sign up anyway, there’s an encore (replay) period and an opportunity to purchase the series, if that tickles your fancy.

I can’t wait to hear what you think!

I know that’s a lot of news!  I hope you enjoyed what I brought today.  Feel free to comment on any or all of these…..and…of course….

KEEP SMILING!!

  1. I think the movie would be a hoot. I like all the actors for their talent plus it just feels so good to see people my age or older in a movie.

  2. Congratulations on your features here Pam! I’ll have to catch the one on May 6. I’ll have to check out the video later (videos are blocked where I work) but I read the baking soda article with interest. I actually do this, mix a small amount with organic apple cider vinegar and add warm water and some honey when it stops fizzing. It really helps with my sensitive stomach. Susan Lucci, what can you say, you know? I wish I had her discipline!!

  3. This movie looks like a winner! I love all those ladies “of a certain age”! 😉 I plan to have a “girls night out” with my daughter soon (before her wedding in June) – this will be fun! Have a great weekend, Pam!

  4. No to the movie because I will not see anything Jane Fonda is in. Like an elephant I remember her as Hanoi Jane and what she did to our troops.
Substitute Judi Dench and then yes.

  5. I love these ladies. I think the movie will either be really good or really bad. Didn’t seem like the writing was all that stellar from the trailer.

  6. I think you are right…if the humor is good and not cheesy, then it could it good. Thanks Lisa.

  7. The film looks like fun – it’s definitely on my list! I just saw a British film last week – also about a bit older crowd – poignant but also funny. It’s called “Finding Your Feet” – it’s just a small film but I really enjoyed it. I’d say it’s in the same vein as “The Best Marigold Hotel”.
