Skincare Over 50: Chamonix Has My Vote

For our skincare over 50, there are so many options.  I have tested many of them, and not been this excited about a brand in a long time as I am with Chamonix.  First of all, this jar says everything you need to know about these products…………you see immediate effects! The morning after I used them for the first time, I got up, looked in the mirror and was amazed at how healthy my skin looked and how soft the wrinkles appeared.  That very day, I was asked what  products I used on my face………..a visible difference.  I have been using the products for a month, and the results are consistent (which hasn’t been the case with some of the products I have tried).

Here are key points you should know:

  • All of the moisturizers have a proprietary base of calendula extract, grape seed extract, and hyaluronic acid.
  • The products are made with natural ingredients and formulated by a pharmacist.
  • They do not use any harmful chemicals or substances
  • They maintain an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
  • They have been in business since 1999.
  • They have over 70 products.

My favorite product so far is Esotique, anti-wrinkle treatment.  My skin really responds to retinol.  This product contains retinol at a .5% concentration.  The product does not  contain Matrixyl,  but does contains grape seed extract, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin E (as does Esotique-RF with Matrixyl).  So, for those who are sensitive to retinol there are other options.  For me, this is an amazing product.

Jeunesse Eye Crème delievered immediate results with  Relaxoderm technology that relaxes your facial muscles and visibly reduces the appearance of wrinkles and bags around your eyes within 5 minutes.  They say the results last 15-24 hours and I would agree with that after my weeks of testing.  They recommend it for the forhead which I have not tried yet. Since, my forehead hides under my bangs I tend to forget about it.

Genucel Eye Lid Treatment …again amazing restuls.  “Formulated with breakthrough plant science, this innovative treatment firms, lifts, and transforms the appearance of droopy eyelids, giving eyes a fresh, youthful look. Powerful peptides tone, tighten and smooth the appearance of saggy skin, while active ingredients from Meadowfoam flowers renew the appearance of youthful radiance and vitality. So your eyes will look alert, fresh, vibrant—years younger! ”  I believe that happens for me!

Here is what they say about this product:

In clinical testing, participants using only 1% of Eyeseryl® saw puffiness under their eyes greatly reduced, even after only 15 days – 70% of the volunteers saw improvement by Day 15. At the end of the test, 95% of the volunteers had shown improvement! In the classic Chamonix tradition, Genucel® also contains DOUBLE the concentration of Eyeseryl®. Genucel® contains 2% of Eyeseryl® .In our users’ survey, a striking number of participating women using genucel® saw improvement in 12 hours or less. It’s that good!

Cristalles Microdermabrasion is excellent as well.  Why go get a facial if you achieve the same results at home and get many treatments for the price of one facial?? The key ingredient is magnesium oxide, same active ingredient used in spas, except this is in a cream base.  Exfoliates the skin and helps treat skin roughness, fine facial lines, wrinkles, acne, age spots, skin discoloration, and small scars.  Exfoliating the skin and getting rid of any dead skin cells helps other products absorb into your skin better.  And the product I follow it up with is………………Deep Firming Serum.

I cannot say enough about how much I like this line of products.  If you are looking for your perfect fit, give it try.  It makes you want to

KEEP SMILING!!

  1. I bought several of the skincare items after reading this post! I’m hoping I love it as much as you do! Thank you!

  2. The benefits of these products are just what every woman past 40 is looking for. So thanks for sharing the information. I’m not one for buying the latest and greatest product just because someone says it’s great, BUT the next time one of my current choices is running low, I may just give one of your suggestions a try because your report on them is so glowing.

  3. I know Chaumonix has been around for awhile. I have heard of testimonies before and that is why I jumped at trying it. So,I don’t think it would fall under the latest trend. It is a product worth trying.

  4. Just go to the links in my post, Bonnie. I think it is only sold online. If I find out different I will let the audience know.

  5. I too have tried so many skin care products recommended by bloggers and not been as satisfied as the bloggers claim to be. However, I really feel I relate to you and think if you are pleased with products, so will I. But still it would be spending so much. Oh my, what to do!
