Affordable, Summer Fashion Fun with Christopher and Banks

A Sponsored Post

Happy first day of summer everyone!  It is time to celebrate sunshine and affordable fashion fun with Christopher & Banks.  No matter what is on your summer calendar, Christopher & Banks can help you to look your best with fun summer styles for just a song.

I told you recently that I am not comfortable wearing shorts right now, but with all of the fun capri options Christopher & Banks offers…then I am not missing shorts one bit.  Today I want to show you three pant options which are perfect fits in my wardrobe.  A perfect fit means these pants will go with many pieces I already have in my closet…and add a little fun touch to those styles as well.  What I love, love, love about the Signature Slimming Tropical Printed Bengaline Capri I am wearing in the first picture is that it will go with any neutral plus the olive green I paired it with and bright hot pink.  They are comfy and fun. I stressed fun in the title because the print selections are fun and keep us from being bored with our wardrobe. This easy style above serves me well on the weekends for errands and going out for a quick bite with my husband.  You will all be happy to know that I now have a little color on my legs and these great pants look so much better with it!

It appears the heat in South Texas is going to be it’s usual pesky self.  Everything feels in June like it usually does in August…which really scares me for August. The locusts are already chirping…humidity thick…and heat indexes above 100.  But, I know I can still look and feel my best when I have choices like Christopher & Banks offers.  We will be going to the lake…backyard BBQs…and perhaps a road trip or two and I can see these styles working for any of those events.  And I think I am more than ready for July 4th weekend.  Love it that it will be a four day weekend for me this year.  Remember that you can find all sizes with this versatile brand and the affordable prices do not replace quality…they have the quality clothing you love.

In the second picture, I am wearing the Relaxed Restyled Confetti Printed Legging and Solid Clip Dot Tunic Top.  These leggings are so incredibly comfortable and feel like yoga pants.  The print is really cute and would be perfect around the beach house or lake house.  To me, these are more fun than a pair of denim shorts and I feel confident in them…not self conscious!

This third look is perfect for just about any summer activity.  We plan to take in Toy Story soon and I will probably wear this outfit.  My husband loves (and cries heavily) over all of the Toy Story movies! I am also going to style the Cherry Print Sleeveless Top for work soon.  I love the print and color of this top.  Today I am wearing it with Signature Slimming Solid Bengaline Capri.  This is a great capri.  It wears and washes so well.  It also comes in many colors.

So, let’s review (sorry, it’s the teacher in me!) On this first day of summer, I am thinking Christopher and Banks because:

  1. I want to be cool and cute in the summer heat
  2. I want my casual summer wardrobe to be fun and comfy!
  3. I want affordable options…makes it easy to own several pair of these pants when the prices are just right.
  4. I want them to be easy to care for and fit really well.
  5. When the fireworks go off on July 4th, I want to feel like they are for me!

Check out Christopher & Banks on any of the links above.  Now, what summer plans do you have pending?  Please share…anything fun?

KEEP SMILING, EVERYONE!

  1. C & B is one of those stores I often forget to check out. Seeing your outfit selections here reminds me to go have a look around! I’m really liking those print leggings! They do have very reasonable prices and there is one out by where my mom lives, so when I head over to see her today I think I’ll build in some extra time to run by C & B! Thank you for the reminder and showing some of the fun summer options.

  2. I love C&B and was so very disappointed when our local store closed its doors. There is another not too far away and I’m glad for that. I’ve always had success shopping at C&B. The quality is very good and the prices very easy!

Love your outfits, Pam. So perfect for summer!

    1. Every piece of clothing I own, with the exception of the T-shirts I collect on our frequent travels, come from CJBanks. The fit, quality, and styles are amazing!

  3. Even though the focus of the blog today was the capris, I’m loving all the tops & accessories too, especially the cherry red one! Love the olive pieces in the first look as well. Yes, C & B is a store I often forget – thanks for the reminder.

  4. I shop at C and B frequently because it is a good teacher wardrobe … not too low cut, see through, or revealing. I do watch reviews because quality and sizing can vary quite a bit, or I wait till I can shop in person. On the plus side, they have a complete range of sizes and make incredible denim jackets in many colors and patterns, and their bengaline slimming ankle pants are my holy grail pants. If you sign up for friendship rewards (free to sign up), you receive free shipping with any order. I’ve used this to buy jackets marked down to $6! Get their email alerts because they run frequent sales. Unfortunately, they are one of those brands where you almost have to wait for a sale, as things are marked up to mark down, but the clearance can be truly amazing.

    1. Thanks so much, Linda! Based on your recommendation, I am going to check out those denim jackets!

  5. When I lived in Michigan I shopped at C&B all the time. Thanks for the reminder! I need a few summer capris and I’m in the market for a denim jacket as well. I foresee a productive shopping weekend ahead of me.

  6. I love Christopher and Banks. They are the main place I shop. I love the sales both in store and online. You can earn points to get $10 coupons. I love their jeans and pants, especially the bengaline ankle pants. Many of their things may not make it to sales because they sell out so fast. But, when they have a sale, it’s worth the wait.
