Ecco Footwear at Dillards: The Answer for My Fall Comfort Footwear Needs

Recently, I told one of the wonderful sales associates at my Dillard’s at The Shops of La Cantera in San Antonio that I needed some good comfort footwear for colder weather.  She said, “We need to get you into a pair of Ecco shoes.  Your feet will thank me.”  They sent me this Women’s Soft Low Cut Zip Bootie Sneakers in the color FIG.  She was right…my feet are very happy.

I learned a long time ago that quality comfort shoes are worth paying for.  I have too many duds that I wasted money on.  These are so comfortable and will get a lot of mileage this fall.  An outfit like I am wearing today will be perfect for causal wear and especially those days when I have lots, and lots of errands to run.  This is a really pretty causal shoe.

The color and quality of the soft Nubuck leather is so nice.  ECCO is known for that quality and leather.  It is a trusted comfort shoe brand.  I also like that I can find it at Dillard’s, a brand I trust.  On their website, ECCO says, “At ECCO, we are passionate about leather. Our team represents 7 generations of tanning know-how, taking premium raw materials and transforming them into timeless shoes & accessories.”

When I put these on and walked the house in them, I was ready to go for the day.  I will need more ECCO styles.

I have placed several in the slideshow below and hope you like the choices for Fall 2019…this one is a good one if you need a casual, comfort shoe.  I definitely recommend it!

WITH HAPPY FEET, IT IS EASIER TO KEEP SMILING!!

Disclaimer:  I was gifted this pair of shoes, but the words are my own.

  1. I have a pair Ecco shoes that are ten years old. Just recently had the heels resoled. They are my go-to-shoe, especially when I travel.

  2. I love ecco sneakers. I bought a pair of ECCO biom cool tex a few years ago and loved them so much that I bought two more pairs in different colors! I have very narrow heels and have to use orthotics, so those cute little booties of yours did not work for me! Bummer! they are so cute, I wanted them to work. I also have a pair of their loafers which work for me also. Not every style works, so you have to just try a few styles.

  3. They certainly look comfy but its unfortunate that they (and even Ecco themselves) don’t ship internationally as I would certainly give the brand a try.

P.S.: Realizing they are finished to resist stains I hope you don’t mind me adding a tip any way for soiled Nubuck. The use of an emery board (fine side) with a light application of sanding (in a one way direction … not back ‘n forth in a sawing motion) works wonders on most for removing such. Prior to doing so though; I recommend you try on a inconspicuous place first as not all leathers are equal.

  4. Thanks for the help to those who need it, Brenda. I have not checked on Dillard’s, but you might check their shipping guidelines.

  5. Just held a funeral for two pair of ECCO sandals that were duplicates of the first two pair I wore out! It was truly a sad day. Never failed to get a compliment when I wore them.
Consoling myself with my two Soft 7 sneakers until next summer. They seriously are one of the better shoe makers for feet with issues. And just darn cute if you have no issues.

  6. This is a new brand to me, & I will definitely check them out. Before I read you narrative, I was thinking that your outfit would be perfect for running errands, marathon shopping days, or attending outdoor festivals, which I am doing this weekend.

  7. The footwear displayed in your slideshow isn’t available for Australia. Had my plastic card to the ready, but no joy. The metallic flatties would be perfect for spring/summer ‘happy feet’.
