Bundle Up! It’s A Great Time to Find a New Coat

Pamela Lutrell in a Vintage Coat

I know there are places today where the weather is frigid!  We had nights in the twenties this week, so I know some of you have frost on your noses.  I thought it might be a good time to remind you of the sales going on…there are some beautiful coats on sale…so bundle up, ladies.

I love beautiful coats…maybe because I do not get to wear them as often.  When I wear them more than eight to ten times, we have had a cold winter! I have seen some on sale that are lovely, so I put together this slide show for you!  Hopefully, there is a little gift money remaining for YOU!

Jennifer and I are hosting Would You Wear It Tomorrow and I might get in a couple of posts before Christmas…but the family will be on the way soon and Santa has not wrapped one thing!  So there is much to do,  I have some special planned to kick off 2020 in a fun way…I am going to encourage you with 2020 Style Goals for Fashion, Beauty and Health in a series of posts.  I hope you will join me to begin your new year with vision and confidence!  Until tomorrow……

KEEP SMILING!!

  1. I am a coat lover for sure. We have needed them already for a month and 4 more to go. It was -20c last night and I don’t even want to go outside. I have about 6 winter coats in rotation and only one black one in the mix, so do have fun with them and scarves. Wishing you a wonderful Christmas Pam and your family as well. It sneaks up so fast at the end. Looking forward to your fun posts in the new year (decade) as well. Diane

  2. I understand what you mean about not cold winters! On Wednesday I actually got to wear a long cashmere sweater because here in Florida it was in the 50s with a heavy wind! I used to live in New England and I have quite a collection of gloves, and scarves and coats which I sadly cannot wear down here!

  3. Over the years I have had several coats that were favorites and that I cherished and wore for many years. I usually only buy one every five years or so, but when I see one I love, I don’t hesitate to make the purchase.

Pam, I really like your hat. You look great in it. Is that a recent purchase and if so can you tell us where you bought it?

  4. I just bought the belted plaid grey and black coat for my daughter. It is so lovely and the price was great!
Merry Christmas to you and your family.

  5. I actually saw my red pea coat in the slide show!! I have too many coats probably, and winter jackets, but with our long, frigid winter it’s nice to be able to wear different ones. I like the military style coat in the slide show. Have a wonderful time with your family celebrating Christmas!

  6. Love your hat, Pamela. Very chic! Where I live, regardless that the official 1st day of Winter is tomorrow we are already into our down-filled coats/jackets (preferably 850 down filled) as temps with the wind-chill factor can be -30°F and that’s during the day time …. lol! Looking forward to your 2020 lineup. -Brenda-
P.S.: Found the package that went missing (as suspected it was delivered to the correct house but to the wrong street), so relief as my shopping is officially completed. Hallelujah (☺) and most of the wrapping is done too.
