Giveaway on Over 50 Feeling 40

I am so excited to bring you a little fun today with this Lilla Rose Mother’s Day Giveaway, and introduce you to Laurie, an impressive entrepreneur over 50!   Lilla Rose features the most beautiful hair accessories which may be of interest to you or a mom in your family you would like to bless with a special gift.

Hair Accessories on Over 50 Feeling 40

Laurie is  an empty nester mom of three 2 legged kids and three 4 legged kids (an Aussie, a Boston, and a quarter horse)  Besides spending time with her adult children, she enjoys running an Airbnb, reading, interior design, gardening, cooking for friends and family, riding & training her horse, and helping her husband run his business.  She also loves being an independent stylist with Lilla Rose and has been with the company for almost three years. They make pretty, well-made, unique hair clips, bobby pins, hair bands, sticks, and other hair accessories.  Laurie is just the type of woman I love to support with her business.  She sent me examples of the products and they are lovely!

She became a consultant after falling in love with the Lilla Rose Flexi-Clip. It is a patented, one-piece, flexible hair clip (strung on piano wire) with an attached pin and it works in all types of hair, from baby-fine to extra-long and thick. It comes in 7 sizes, and enables you to do a variety of quick & easy hairstyles, from a simple half-up to a full French Twist!  Size is determined by how much hair (or fabric) you want to hold.

Flexi clips work on tension INSIDE the clip, so many people who normally get headaches from putting their hair up can wear these because they don’t pull on your scalp.  The Flexi clip really is a life-saver for busy women, because you can do your hair beautifully in only seconds and be ready for the day!  Laurie wishes she had found these when her kids were small… She said, “I wouldn’t have looked like I forgot to brush my hair every. single day!”

About the company itself, Laurie explains, “Lilla Rose, Inc. began when a California dad created some hand beaded hair jewelry for his daughters.  He called them flexi clips and got a patent for his design.  People loved them and he began to sell them at fairs and festivals.  The business quickly outgrew his garage and now has a home office in La Habra, CA with over 11,000 consultants nationwide.  Our consultants are free to sell in the environment that most suits them…parties, vendor events, online, and through social media.”

Now, to enter this special giveaway, just go to the Giveaway Entry Form, and fill it out.  We will announce on Friday who the winner is!  Feel free to share the contest with friends and family and have them enter as well.  The two moms in my family would love the hairbands and clips!  These are beautiful accessories for women of all ages.  So, please share and enter and give Laurie you support!

  1. These are so pretty! What a nice change from just pulling hair back into a standard ponytail to get it out of our eyes! With so many consultants out there, I’m wondering how I could have missed this! But thank you for sharing something so pretty with us. I know a couple moms too who pull their hair up, and back, for work and they’d love something like this!

  2. This is a fun post. And such an appropriate idea for hair that is out of control. I do have a box of hair ornamentation, but these would spice it up a notch. I like the fact that there is a number of grey hair ladies showcasing styles also. That is me. Granddaughters will be checking out the box as well when we are back together. Would be a fun delivery to send out now as well just for fun to cheer up a friend. Thanks Pam.

  3. Thanks for introducing me to this company and to Laurie’s designs in particular. When I filled out the entry form, I had a hard time choosing just ONE favorite item!

  4. Thanks for the look at hair accessories this morning. If I can’t get a haircut soon, EVERY day will be an up-do day!! I loved the Up-jewel hair pins in particular for every day wear since they have a simple modern design, but could also see myself adding a little glam element with the dragonfly set for a party or dinner out. Oh, remember parties and going out to dinner!!! Feels like forever ago. I think I will never take those small outings for granted again once our quarantines are lifted.
    Have a beautiful week! 🌼

  5. Oh I love this idea! I have fond memories of spending time rummaging through my grandmother’s jewelry and accessories when I would visit them! Thanks for sharing, Diane!

  6. LOL! Me too, Cynthia! That’s why I now sell them…my personal stash was getting out of control. They are really beautiful and can be very addicting!

  7. My hubby and I really miss our favorite local Mexican restaurant…we have made so many friends there it almost feels like “Cheers” LOL! We are really missing all of them and it will be a long time before we take it for granted once we are free to enjoy our place again!
You mentioned one of my favorite accessories…the U-pin. I wear one of these almost every day and the large plain ones are what I sleep in at night…my hair is midback length and I really don’t like it in my face while I sleep.
Thanks for sharing and have a beautiful day!

  8. Oh I need these hair accessories now more than ever since I am way overdue for a trim!
    These are so pretty!

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  9. My pleasure, Beth! It’s one of my favorite things to do…it really is true that the giver is filled with joy! Please let me know if you have any questions or need help with sizing. I’m always happy to help 🙂
