Patricia Nash Handbags Celebrates 10 -Year Anniversary with Dillard’s Special Event

Patricia Nash 10 Year Anniversary Event at Dillards on over 50 Feeling 40

The inspirational Patricia Nash, accessories designer, is celebrating her 10 -Year Anniversary as a top quality brand with special prices on a unique collection at all Dillard’s (and online), through September 15.

I recently spent some time listening to Patricia discuss her brand and her passions…now I understand why these handbags are so exquisite.

HER BEGINNING INSPIRATIONS

Patricia (on the right) is standing with the women in her family to exhibit the strength and courage it took her when ten years ago she made the leap to go out on her own.  She was working in the industry and designing for other brands, but it was time to either retire or take a risk.

Her passion for vintage handbags and beautiful leathers would see her to success.  “Leather tells its story again and again overtime,” Patricia said.  She saw how one of her mother’s vintage bags was so beautifully worn over time.

She has been dedicated to bring women affordable leather with a vintage touch since that time.

10 -YEAR ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION

Patricia Nash 10 Year Anniversary Collection

Dillard’s and their customers have supported Patricia Nash from the beginning, so she brought a 10-year collection to the store with pieces designed just for them, and a special discount of 25% off through September 15.

Patricia Nash English Country Print on Over 50 Feeling 40

A great example of designs exclusive to Dillards, is the English Country Print, which was inspired by Nash’s visits to the countryside in The Cotswolds of England.  This is a place she visits often and where she gleans inspiration….especially from the rose gardens.

She said the 10th Anniversary collection is her very best in superior craftsmanship.  She loves how horses are often associated with family crests in England and chose them for many different pieces from handbags to jewelry.

Each bag in this special collection is sold with a 10 -Year Anniversary medallion.

The British Vegetable Tanned Tooled Collection is my favorite.

Of course, do not forget the crossbody bags…they come in every print and design.

Nash has developed close relationships with tanneries and family businesses throughout Italy and Spain.  They love their work with leathers and are very passionate about the quality.  She described their passions as infectious.

  1. I have several Patricia Nash handbags and a couple of scarves. Her products are good quality and are classsic. My favorite piece is a black duffle bag with red roses that I use for road trips. I have had it for years and I have the matching tote. Her products are timeless, good leather, and at a good price point. I am glad that you featured her. I didn’t know her story.

  2. I have just recently discovered Patricia Nash on social media and I am so glad you featured her today. I have yet to purchase any of her products, but now may be the time with the anniversary promotion. I would love to see what you were gifted. The leather in the photos is beautiful. Unfortunately there isn’t a Dillard’s anywhere near me so I can’t actually see it in person. Decisions, decisions on what to potentially purchase??

  3. Hi Michele, The products are even lovelier in person, so you can trust ordering online will deliver a gorgeous result. Just spend some time with the Dillard’s site…this is the year to gift yourself with one of her creations!!

  4. What gorgeous bags, Pamela. Seeing the one with the horse brings back memories for me when my Grandfather gave me a 3-ring zippered, tooled leather binder with a horse on it in knowing they were my passion at that time. (If I recall correctly it was very similar to the color of the handbag next to the one you are showing.) I was about nine or ten years old and treasured it. -Brenda-

  5. I love Patricia Nash leather goods! We don’t have Dillard’s in SoCal but I’ve seen them at Macy’s. I found my antique gold satchel style bag at TJ Maxx! I did a double-take when I saw it. I knew the $119 price tag was too good to pass up so I took a deep breath and decided I wouldn’t regret making an impulse buy! I’ve carried it everyday since I bought it and there are no signs of wear and tear. I just saw the crocodile and python finishes on the Dillard’s website and am seriously tempted!

  6. What a wonderful success story, Pamela, thank you for bringing it to my attention. I’ve heard of Patricia Nash products but haven’t seen any, but I’m highly impressed with what you’ve shown us. I’m absolutely in love with the floral bags, which are really not me at all! Oddly enough, considering how I love leather, I’m not really into handbags. I love to look at them & admire the workmanship that goes into them but have stopped buying them because they just sit in my closet while I keep using my old favorite.

It’s a black leather drawstring boho bag with fringe around the top that I bought in the mid-70s & after 40+ years the leather is as soft as butter & apart from a few minor nicks & scratches is in excellent shape. I’ve had it repaired once (including having all the fringe & beaded tassels on the drawstring replaced) & professionally redyed twice & I still use it almost daily. Whenever I think it might be time to retire it, I realize it works for me because it IS me: even when I’m wearing something “grown up” & classic, my bag is a bit of the hippie I still am at heart. I have a couple of lovely brown leather bags & a beaded evening clutch, but they rarely see the light of day. But that won’t stop me from having a rummage through Nash’s products!

  7. Love Patricia Nash bags! I have several and also a couple of scarves. I’ve been a fan for several years now. Thank you for showcasing her talents.
