  1. Actually I would wear any or all of these to work out. Because of AFIB and my cardiologists advice I don’t participate in high intensity aerobic exercise just riding the bike, gentle exercise, yoga and tai chi so a sleeve on my workout tees is preferable. I do also walk three miles most days. If us hit and humid outside, the sleeveless would do the trick! . I like all if these outfits! They work well especially for the women who are in for high intensity workouts.

  2. The tops and crops are fine for the health club not the street. However, the illusion fabric on the crops needs to be soft. It looks good but can be very itchy and stiff so I avoid it.

  3. I would wear the two with tank tops. My gym doesn’t allow sports bras without something over them, and for the sake of modesty, the only place I’d wear the ones with just the sports bras would be in my own house. But the tank tops are cute and I like all the bottoms. I like fun and pretty things to wear to the gym!

  4. I absolutely wear leggings and compression leggings when I walk during fall and winter! No short tops for me, but nice zip up warm tops and/or jackets are necessary depending on the weather! In no spring chicken, but I’m strong and plan on doing all in my power to stay that way! Comfortable, well fitting shoes are a must when power/strength walking for everone!

  5. Not sure if I would wear any of these workout clothes, but you have reminded me I need to look over the ones I have and update a couple of items to look my best even when working out.

  6. this is my around the house wear…..because i can open the door, or walk the trash over to the dumpster or walk down to the mailboxes. i dont wear it anywhere else. now, i would if i were to take yoga or fitness classes somewhere, which is on my list. i like the capri length pants, and longer tops to cover the rear. i just get tangled up in sports bras, so for around the house i use minimizer bras.

  7. Pam, I am going to buy some active wear today but from regular Nordstrom. Do you have a link from there you could share?

  8. I had to scrunch in for a much closer look at the tops because at first it seemed they had used sequined fabric! I see now it is just a very cool pattern. 😉 Yes, all of these look great to me. Though I gravitate more toward wearing yoga pants, I like sport leggings for cycling. Some of the jackets are cute in the slideshow (esp the blue with stripe designs here and there) but I have more than I need as it is.

  9. I would wear them all except for the foil looking tank. I would cover those sports bras up with a top. About sports bras: getting in and out of some of them is a workout in itself. I finally found one that has a hook/eye and I wear them daily when I golf or walk. It’s made by Champion and I found it at Kohl’s. My daughter runs everyday and she is more endowed than I am and buys some very expensive ones at Nordstrom but mine are less then $35.

  10. Pam, not sure my comment went through. Was wondering if you have a shopping link to regular Nordstrom. Getting ready to buy some activewear :).

  11. Did you not see my reply. I replied with a link. I am also going to add Nordstrom and Kohl’s below the second slide show. Give me a couple of minutes.

  12. Has anyone else mentioned that the formatting of comments on an iPad makes them difficult to read? Your response to a comment is fine, but if there is a second or third response under yours, I see one word or even one letter at a time streaming down the page!

  13. I had no idea, Barb and not sure what the answer is…but I will see if I can find out.

  14. The link is now under the slideshow…refresh your page to make sure it shows up.
    Thank you so much.

  15. IF I was younger I would certainly consider any of the styles but being in my early 70’s opt for yoga pants/leggings and a short sleeved or tank cotton-knit T. (It’s actually about the only time I wear either of the two latters.) -Brenda-

  16. Although I stopped going to the gym in March due Covid, I still walk and work out when I can. The tops shown would not provide enough coverage for me. I like longer tanks and shirts that cover the back of me. I find yoga pants and leggings so comfortable to work out in and the ones here are cute and stylish!

Thanks to Linda L above for the tip about sports bras. I struggle putting them on, too, so this is great to learn about!!!

  17. I would feel self conscious in the tights and no one wants to see my midriff! My thrifted sweatpants and a short sleeve tee serve my needs perfectly fine.

  18. Pam,I get the messages with one letter @ a time streaming down the page on a few posts every day!
    Impossible to read.
    I love the workout outfits.
The tights are so comfortable to wear for workouts @ the gym (not going there yet)
Absolutely not suitable for street wear!
Fun to wear colours to workout 🏋️‍♂️

  19. Since I do all of my working out in our basement gym, I tend to wear old leggings and t-shirts as opposed to investing in nicer workout wear. I totally agree with Linda L’s comment about sports bras. I had a couple that we so hard to get in and out of that I finally got rid of them!

  20. I learned about the sports bras from my daughter. She’s an avid runner and after the birth of her first child she was looking for a sports/nursing bra. We went to Nordstrom and I was surprised at the assortment of sports bras with hooks/eye. They carried a high price for my budget so I started searching. The Champion ones come in odd broad range sizes so it took some trial and error to find my size. Also I tried ordering from champion direct but due to a mailing error on their part I never received my order. Kohl’s was a better resource plus you can use their coupons!
