Yes! I actually would wear these outfits. The pants are a definite yes in both cases. It took me a minute to think about the floral fleece top, but I like it. It’s a great fall piece, unusual given the print, but pretty, cozy and fun. So yes! I have to wear stripes under things, much as I like them. Every time I put on a striped top something is just off! Stripes are so classic and I have several tops like the one shown, but I wear them under blazers and that works for me. The floral top with those pants would be a great thing to wear to Thanksgiving dinner!
the floral top is a no for me, the cut and the heaviness and the print just dont appeal, but i do like the color of the pants, i would try those. the striped top, i also would try, stripes sometimes surprise me and work well, both pants i would want longer to wear with booties. im sitting here this morning, already planning tomorrow mornings time line for the oven…(still dreaming of a double oven) i always say im going to keep thanksgiving simple, and then i never do….
I like the outfit with the fleece top, but due to a shoulder that no longer raises, I have to go with a closure all the way up the front. The pants are great and I would try them on for sure.
Would wear all the pants shown and the striped T-Shirt however not so much the floral top namely because of its pattern but do have a friend who would love it. Wishing you and yours A VERY HAPPY THANKSGIVING! -Brenda-
Footnote: Here in Canada ours was on Oct. 12th however similar to Easter and also Halloween we were in pandemic lock down mode , but are keeping our fingers crossed that we will be able to celebrate with our loved ones at Christmas who are not within the immediate household.
I could see me wearing both outfits. The stripes and pants are classics. I don’t know if I would buy the coloured pants. I usually don’t buy outfits unless I can get several pieces that give different looks when put together.
The floral fleece top and solid complementing pant is cute and relaxed and if I dressed in florals I’d say yes. I don’t wear bright florals-as a rule so probably wouldn’t buy this. The black and white striped tee is like a few I Already own But for a guest visit, I wouldn’t wear it. I typically dress this way around the house when nit expecting anyone except maybe babysitting my twin grandchildren who are two. A bit boring but neat.
I would wear both if the colors fit my capsule wardrobe colors, but they don’t. I love the classic cut of the pants, the fine stripes of the tee, and the colors of the floral. Maybe my next capsule wardrobe will fit these colors…
I would like both pairs of pants AND the table full of other colored cords as well! Like others here, I also already have a very similar striped top. So if I needed to refresh it, yes, I’d buy that. I am torn on the fleece. It’s cute and I already have jeans in that bittersweet color, so it’s a maybe.
I had quite the fun online shopping last night via your links: Talbots, Lands End, and Ross-Simons! They all have terrific sales, so no need to wait for Friday to shop. 😁
So appreciative, Connie…thanks for the support!
I would wear the striped top, the black jeans & surprisingly, the colored jeans. I don’t care for the print of the fleece jacket, but if it were a solid color, I would wear it for walking or working outside in cool weather. I don’t usually wear colored jeans, but the spice color of these appeals to me. I am wearing a striped top with my black Talbott’s black jeggings today, so that look is a go to for me. Can I use the discount codes I have received from Talbott’s & Lands End with your links? I have a couple that too good to pass up.
Yes… you can! Thanks so much!
Love the paprika pants! They’re stunning. If I were buying more clothes (& I’m not; I have more in my closets that I wear now!) I’d seriously contemplate them. I’d pair them with either a white cashmere turtleneck or a cream Irish cable knit with a light-weight rust turtleneck under it, amber earrings & rings & caramel coloured leather booties. I’m not a fan of fleece so would never wear the top on display & while I like wide stripes on a sweater or tee (especially under a jacket or blazer to add some interest), I find narrow stripes too busy & the neckline on this one is all wrong for me. Black jeans: always 🙂
Hope everyone has a happy & a safe Thanksgiving!
Love. Love! LOVE. the pastel Fair Isle sweater in the slide show. Perfect colours for me. And! I have a suede winter white skirt that would make a sweet outfit.
Stripes are on my list for next year. Hopefully there’ll be some baby pinks, blues, yellows, greens & white-on-white coming in. Always been partial to stripes.
