Recommended products for women

It’s time for a list of recommended products for women!

These are all tested by me and I only recommend the products I truly believe in and enjoy.

Since, I have discussed adding more warmth to my home, I wanted to show you this one little solar powered mason jar.

A sweet neighbor gave it to me over the holidays and I cannot tell you the enjoyment it gives me…and I am considering ordering more.

I set it outside every morning, and bring it in at dusk at it shines all night long.  Such an easy way to add a touch of light to your life.

I believe they are most often used for backyard or party decor…but why not in the house.  I found them at a couple of locations….

RECOMMENDED FOR HOT (OR COLD) BEVERAGES

Recommended Products for women

I have mentioned teakruthi before and said we loved their green tea blends…but I had to mention the Organic Orange, black tea blend…it is a new favorite for me! Cold or hot…I drink it without any sweetener.

Recommended Espresso for Women

If you are like Mr. B and love espresso and cappuccinos,  I believe you will love this Italian espresso machine by illy.

I do not drink this every day like Mr. B, but I have had an occasional espresso and it is so smooth and delicious.  This is a coffee lovers dream.

Yes!  We even have the little espresso cups and the milk frothing pitcher…so much fun to add to the new kitchen.

We like both the Classico Blend and Intenso Blend.  With this link, you can enjoy 15% off orders of $30+ as a Valentine’s Day treat Using Code “LOVE”

RECOMMENDED PRODUCTS FOR A WOMAN’S EYES

Recommended Products for Women

I have already recommended the Trinny London Serum Foundation and now I can recommend the BFF Eye Serum Concealer.  I am pleased with both and wearing them often.

Again, I am a big fan of serum makeup for my older skin.

Recommended Products for Women

Yesterday, a reader mentioned the Importance of smiling with our eyes now that mask wearing is so important.  That is why I take my eyes to a bit more dramatic level.

The Trinny London moisture rich Eye2Eye cream shadow is great…doesn’t crease or cake and stays on all day.  I love this color I am using called MYSTERY.

ALWAYS RECOMMEND INSPIRATION

Recommended Products for Women

If you need a gift for another woman or just for yourself, I always recommend the inspiration on products at Demdaco. (Notice the decor with birds…I am really into birds right now!)

I smile each time I place my spoon on this spoon rest in my kitchen.  Just one little message can keep us going throughout the day.

A positive focus always helps.  Again, I recommend the wonderful gifts you will find at Demdaco.

Hope this helps to bring you products tested and recommended.  Please let me know if you have any questions…have a wonderful end to you week…and always….

KEEP SMILING!!

  1. As a former high school science teacher, I often encountered grumbly, tired, sometimes angry or frustrated teenagers. I realize now that I was setting the mood for the classroom as I stood at the door, smiling, greeting each student by name. I often complimented them, their clothing, their hair, their attitude as they entered my room. Many have said in years afterwards that they felt safe in my room, and my acceptance of them no matter their abilities, or attitudes made such a difference. This came to my mind when I read how you smile every time you put your spoon on your spoon rest. Smiles, and good attitudes make such differences in our lives.

  2. I did exactly the same thing when I taught high school for 16 years! I also strived to be the safe haven and room of acceptance! Thanks for sharing Celia! Happy Friday!

  3. I love your blog. I’m interested in the mason jar lights you pictured. They seem to be solar powered but all the items you listed are not solar powered. I have ordered those kinds of lights before but always have to switch on. Do you know where she purchased the solar powered ones. I’d love to have on my patio. Thank you for your blog.

  4. This is where my jar is from! I don’t know how I got the wrong links thanks for pointing it out!

  5. Hi Pam! I’m going to have to try the serum eye concealer that you recommended. It seems like a great idea to have something that benefits the skin as well as concealing. I’ve found that there are no eye creams that will take away the bags under my eyes (they’re not from fluid retention) so I’m going to have to try somehow to conceal them. They make me look tired. Not ready for plastic surgery – aagh! I look forward to your articles every day!

  6. Thanks for your positive blog.
We are just settling in for a continuous lock down for a few more weeks. Going shopping, masked up, is a big outing so eyes are all we see.
I am putting on liner & mascara.
    Maybe need a bit more.
Don’t need to spend $ on lipstick!
    Vaccines are coming.
    Thanks for happy ideas.

  7. I was given a SipsBy tea subscription for my birthday. It’s a woman owned company, and I was delighted to see that they had many tea brands I had been meaning to try. They send multiples of your monthly teas, in case you want to make a whole pot, and enclose disposable tea bags for any loose teas. You take a quiz about flavors, caffeine, types of tea, etc. and they custom make your box. I don’t have my tea yet, but am looking forward to it. I was so surprised at how affordable it was too. Oh! And to you and the other teacher who greeted their students: I did that too! No learning can take place unless the atmosphere is safe and welcoming.

  8. Hi Sharon, look at the top of my page and click on Shopping Links. Go to the link for Chamonix all natural skin products. They make one for under eye bags that is excellent. I have a good friend who has exactly what you have and she told me that the Chamonix product is the only product that has helped her. Go read about it and see what you think!

  9. Same here, ladies. Middle School Librarian, now retired. I greeted the students by name when they entered or checked out a book, played Mozart quietly in the background all day, had bean bag chairs and comfy couches, magazines, books, puzzles, checkers….wanted to make it a safe haven in the school. When I retired most of the cards from students noted how cozy the library felt…mission accomplished!
