Feeling the Joy with Chico’s
Happy Sunday, everyone! Thank you for joining me as I am feeling the joy with Chico’s today!
Spring is so welcome this year after everything that has happened in recent months and with sunshine, flowers, smiles and new style, I am feeling joy today!
First, I want to tell you about my. new favorite jacket! This Mid-length denim jacket with a (slightly) frayed hem in Natural Cream is a new wardrobe staple for me!
I love everything about it…the color, the flattering fit, the lightweight material, the casual vibe, and how it will go with so many things.
I have always been more of a fan of cream over white…and this cream is lovely!
I have paired It with a Traveler’s tank in brown for this outfit…tomorrow I will show you a different way I recently styled this.
The Essential Reversible Tank in Cocoa Bean would also look lovely with this jacket, and right now it is on sale!! It comes in many colors that would work in your wardrobe.
JOYFUL PANTS
OK…how fun are these Brigette Floral Slims Crops? Such a nice alternative to a solid neutral and they speak to my creative, dramatic side of dressing.
This is easily one of my favorite outfits right now. It is a confident style for me that has me smiling when I leave the house.
Confidence is the key to adding some joy to your life as you go out and about!
I am purposeful about practicing those things which bring me joy.
This spring it has been fun clothing, decorating my house, decorating the front porch, returning with fresh flowers, celebrating family, and of course, being here with you!
Chico’s does have a spring sale going on until April 15, and here are a few other pieces I really like. Then, for more joy, Leigh Ann and I take you shopping with us tomorrow!!

The pants are really cute and fun. As it that orange striped blouse.
Where did you find the jacket you show over the orange and white striped top? I love that there are no flaps on the top pockets. That is the one thing I don’t care for on the cream jacket.

I have the Chico’s jacket shown with the orange striped blouse in white, traditional blue, black, and a black and white pinstripe. They fit nicely, a bit generously (I have a shrunken fit from another brand and don’t reach for it as much). The seaming is flattering, and while they have an interesting design, they don’t add any visual bulk. I have probably worn the white jacket 50 times! Such a wardrobe staple. I even wear it in the winter with a black sweater under it. I’m a big believer in cost per wear and definitely got my money out of all of these.

Thank you! I walked by a favorite consignment shop a few years ago and it was in the window. I wend right in and grabbed it. Sadly, she had to close her shop during COVID, but the owner has impeccable taste with the items she accepts.
