Say Summer with Accessories
Happy Fri-YAY!! Today, I want to discuss how to say summertime with our accessories.
There are so many fun accessories on the market right now. It is an easy, affordable way to make your wardrobe more seasonal.
I am actually wearing an older necklace I purchased years ago at Stein Mart…but every time I wear it, I get compliments!
Also, I have on my new JJill fringe trimmed hooded cardigan, and my new Clark womens weekly jazz Flip Flops from JCP….just love a little black & white snake print!
SUMMER ACCESSORIES WHICH CAPTURED MY ATTENTION
Last week, Leigh Ann and I stopped by one of our local resorts and so we visited the gift shop! There we found amazing summer accessories by Spartina 449.

Wow!! So many pretty things! And an easy way to say “summer”!! I like this idea and do have some accessories that are strictly for warm weather months. However, it will be fun to add some new pieces. Next week is the weekend my sister and I go on our annual shopping getaway, so I’ll be on the lookout for some fun things. I’ve had my eye on that JJill tote! The ones you found at the resort are fabulous!! Happy Friday indeed! My oldest son is coming from New York this weekend to help on my new place, and I can’t wait to see him again!
Oh so many gorgeous accessories- love the orange infused printed bags and clutches! Mmmmm. And that gorgeous bib necklace in blues from Chicos is right up my style alley so to speak. Wow!

Wow! I will take one of everything, please! As a woman who loves accessories more than clothes, this morning was my jam! This year I had a hard time finding a plainer, smaller straw tote that was decent quality and affordable (the Loewe basket bag was sadly out of budget :):)), and finally did find one at Talbots. That jacket looks great on you and I bet ends up being worn quite a lot.
Yes to summer accessories. When it is too hot to put on another layer, this is the perfect way to polish an outfit. Your first shot with that necklace is so pretty and they do last forever if you put them aside for a while then bring them back out. The straw purses are such fun for summer and I have a selection of those. Earrings, what can I say, you can never have enough great ones that say summer fun. I tend to bring items like that home from vacations and are a constant reminder of the wonderful times….. falling a bit behind on this lately, so catching up is on the list.
What a gorgeous collection of pretty things, Pam! It (almost) makes me wish I used more purses than my trusty old leather shoulder bag that I’ve had (& used pretty much non-stop) for 40 years. If I were going to expand my collection, it would be for that Biship Tote Bag (I bet if you look on the bottom, it has my name on it 🙂 ). Great jewelry, too! I always wear bigger, more dramatic pieces in summer when I’m not fighting with scarves, sweaters, hoodies, jackets, coats & rain gear & I keep them forever, wearing them for a season then tucking them away for a year.
