Chico’s colorful linen for summer weekends

Chico's colorful linen for summer weekends

So happy it is Friday and the weekend! So, let’s discuss Chico’s colorful linen for summer weekends!

You are looking at an area of my yard that needs a lot of loving…but we are still making decisions of what to do.

With all of our recent rain, color is everywhere…but so is humidity and high heat.

It is a perfect time for me to break out Chico’s colorful linen garments.

This Fresh Chic Linen Floral-Print Shirt is so much fun and wears really well.

I have worn this top to the grocery…carried heavy products…loaded and unloaded the car…and no wrinkles!

Chico’s does such a great job with these tops and offers them in a variety of designs.…here are a few:

I am wearing the linen top with these super colorful Girlfriend Crops in Seafaring Blue…which is a vibrant and beautiful color.

I took this closeup of the frayed hemline because I think it is such a cute, casual touch.  They are also super comfy and perfect for summer!

Here are more colorful pant options:

These are such fun and easy garments for summer casual life….I do highly recommend.

I want to call attention to my new glasses….they are difficult to photograph.  I wear my glasses 24/7 and my eye doctor recently recommended the special lenses for people like me who work constantly in front of technology.

From now on you will see a blueish/purplish glow around my eyes...it is really hard to get just the right sunlight in order to avoid the glow.

I do not get images done without glasses any longer because that is not an authentic me…so we will just do what we can to deal with it!

  1. These are really pretty, colorful shirts! For years I avoided linen because of the wrinkles, but that’s no longer the case. I had heard that Chico’s has the no-wrinkle linen. I’ve got lots of linen now and find even the traditional linen fabric kind of it freeing. It’s supposed to wrinkle, right? That’s an indication that it’s really linen. It seems that on humid days, or maybe from just heating it up by wearing it, the wrinkles are not so pronounced. Your shirt looks great with the bright blue crops! I didn’t notice any color variation around your eyes, but that’s a good idea about the tech glasses. Love all the green, beautiful plants in your yard!

  2. You look cheerful in that outfit! Good to see your smiling face again. I’ve been catching up on all the posts I missed while on vacation – what a treat!

  3. Hi Pam, Hope you enjoy the weekend too! Love the bright, happy outfit from Chico’s; a favorite place of mine. I like to see looks (like this), that are great to wear around the house, but you’re still polished enough that you can go out on errands or whatever at a moments notice. The blouse is certainly cheerful and I love the frayed bottom of the pants. Very nice!

  4. I’ve considered one of those linen shirts from Chico’s for a while as I see ladies wearing them often in the Chico Shoppers Facebook group. There are so many beautiful patterns and appear to be very comfortable whether worn as you did, or open as a jacket. I have not noticed the frayed hem detail until you pointed it out so I will consider them more seriously because I like this detail. You look very cool, comfortable, ready for anything in your outfit. Nice choices.

  5. I love that print, and am thinking it may be the same one in the cardigan I’ve been eyeing. I think there’s a scarf too … I want that also. I’m losing weight, and trying not to buy, as I’m overstocked. You look great … love your new hairstyle and glasses.

  6. I resisted frayed hems until I tried them. Now I like the look. It’s soft and feminine. To prevent further fraying, just run a line of stitching close to the edge. Voilà!

  7. What a beautiful print! I really like the idea of no wrinkle linen. That would be worth checking into.

  8. Hi, I’ve been looking at Chico’s for a long time and now, after seeing the cute cropped pants on you I will buy! Their sizing is a little different than I’m used to so could you tell me about the cut of their clothes- are they true to size, snug, loose, etc. Thanks so much!

  9. Hi Mary! I believe they are true to size. I have worn a size 3 in pants for years.
