Chico’s Cool, Confident Summer Style

Chico's Cool Confident Summer Style

Happy Fri-yay!! Since it is the first weekend in June, let’s discuss Chico’s Cool, Confident Summer Style.

I am definitely attending more events now, and there is even some double booking!

In a Chico’s outfit (like this one I wore to a recent event) I am cool and confident for the summer.

I love this Feather-Print Flutter Sleeve Top in Tropical Teal.  It is stunning, lightweight and very comfortable

I paired it with my So slimming Brigitte Tab-Hem Capris in the Cafe Au Lait color….and it would look amazing with white!

This is also the first outfit I have worn with my new gold metallic Sofft Sanders sneakers from DSW. I love these shoes!!

I wore this to a special beauty event this week…the event will be featured on my Monday post and I felt great wearing it.

Chico’s clothing always makes me feel special…and I do not mind standing out in bold prints and colors.

This illustration was on one of Chico’s IG posts last week and I thought it was perfect to share.  I do not want this to be the summer of boring for me…but confident fun.

Here are a few of my favorites from the new summer collection:

Do you have any fun plans this weekend?  Please share if you do and remember to think Chico’s if planning some special looks!  See you tomorrow for Would You Wear It…and always….

KEEP SMILING!!

  1. Great outfit Pam, and certainly flattering! I like how your shoe choice makes for a long line and “longer” legs. Light-colored shoes are very good for creating this line with lighter summer bottoms. I love the quote and immediately thought of how fun it would be to frame that in a creative font and hang it on the wall by my closet. Your new summer tops look very cool, literally, and really brighten up your outfits!

  2. Good Morning! that top looks great on you. i really like this summers prints Chicos are doing…and the fact that you can usually find a print you like in whatever style suits you…sleeves, no sleeves, maxi dress, pants….

  3. You look great in that outfit, and I agree about the shoes making the feet less of a focus. I have gotten rid of almost all of my black footwear and nude or blush is my go to for the summer. Have fun at your functions and thanks for including that fun quote. Something to keep in mind when shopping.

  4. I’m loving the prints from Chico’s this summer. Often I find prints hit or miss, and prefer them in accessories, but this year is an exception. I do love patterned denim jackets, have been watching the tropical print one, and I’ve had my eye on the olive beaded jacket too. All of a sudden, the world has opened up, and I’m finding that even in retirement I’m on the go a lot. This is a good thing … I love being home, but after having my foot in a cast all winter and lockdown for a year, I am ready!

    1. You go, Linda! Enjoy yourself and have fun…this collection has plenty for the woman on the go!

  5. Today’s outfit is lovely. As others have mentioned, whether prints or plaids or Ikat design, color is everywhere and we are all embracing it or it seems we are. I’ve got lots of deep blues, pinks and greens in my summer wardrobe and WOW – they all look so good with white or pebble even my black linen shorts! Beauty event? You’ve perked my interest again!

  6. Really like your outfit,I would wear the stripe CK outfit Pass on the dress(don’t do dresses anymore) The black top I would wear, but probably not as I seem to gravitate toward so much black and white! Really like all your choices this week.So much better than last weeks! do like Chicos (for me,can always find something that says take me home with you. Not too sure what the mature woman would do without that store! Keep shopping there, you always find
‘ something I missed Having dinner with neighbors that we have not gotten together with in much too long a time!Have a good weekend, one and all!
