Bryn Walker Fall 2021 at Dillard’s

Bryn Walker Fall 2021 at Dillard's

Hello Sunday!  Welcome to everyone as I show you the collection by Bryn Walker for Fall 2021 at Dillard’s.

Today’s post features one of my favorite places…Dillard’s in The Shops at La Cantera...and one of my favorite brands…Bryn Walker!

I have been a fan for years, however, I am loving the styles even more now….since I can wear what I want for work; enjoy new colors and soft, flowy looks for my style personality and can wear smaller sizes.

At the top today, I am showing you the Dimitri French Terry Long Dolman Sleeve Boat Neck Tunic in the color called hornbeam, a luscious deep green that I just love.

The top drapes beautifully and could be worn for a nice evening out to dinner or a casual one at home.

I am wearing it with their Basic Thick Ponte Slim Leggings…incredible leggings that I highly recommend.

I love the “vibe” of this look…I think it is super cool and if I was still teaching, I would wear this in the classroom or for presentations!

The top is the Dimitri Houndstooth Print French Terry Dolman Long Sleeve Round Neck Tunic.

Of course, it would look great with leggings, but I rather like it with the French Terry Knit Long Pencil Skirt, which is available in two colors.

These short sleeved versions of the tunic are great for warmer climates….look at the Enola Bamboo French Terry Short Elbow Sleeve Cowl Neck Tunic…anything bamboo is a winner in my book.

Bryn Walker has been one of my favorites for so long because:

  1. I love the styles and fabrics….and sometimes the funky creativity.
  2. It is a small company run by an intelligent, creative woman.
  3. The only department store that sells this brand is Dillard’s.  (With Dillard’s great customer service I can understand why)

Looking for a print in this collection?  Here is one…Bingley Fall Floral Print V-Neck Drop Shoulder Short Elbow Sleeve Shift Dress.  I prefer it as a long tunic with leggings, but it is a dress.

Of course, there is LOTS of black…most pieces are offered in black.  This is the Damien Ponti Crew Neck Long Dolman Sleeve Tunic.

Note: Except in rare occasions, I size down on their tops.

This beautiful blue is called glasswing, and the fun top is the Wilder Combed Cotton Dolman Gathered Band Coordinating Tunic…which kind of look like wings…but I like it!

I did not try it on, but I really like the colors in the print top on the hangar.  It is the Bess Italian Print Silk Boxy Shirt.

If you want to stop by my favorite Dillard’s in San Antonio, just head out to The Shops at La Cantera…go to the second floor, find Bryn Walker and ask for Denise.  She is happy to help you with this great brand.

I do highly recommend it and have for years!!

Thanks for stopping by…and make sure you always…

KEEP SMILING!!

  1. These tunics look so lovely on you Pam! That green shade is especially beautiful! You’re tall and with leggings to offset the fullness-a great pairing!
    Happy September!

  2. The glasswing tunic looks so lovely on you I ordered one for myself! I’m a tunic kind of girl and wear them a lot because the style covers a lot of “sins” and I love soft and flowy.

  3. What an interesting collection. Is the fabric thick or thin? I too like the blue top best but that is a color I prefer. And I like the pattern of the top you did not try on. I also like the cowl neckline of the short sleeve top but would prefer it in long sleeve. As I recently said, I need to drive to Tallahassee to the Dillards there where I used to often shop until they closed the store closer to me. Have not been there in years. Thank you for an introduction to this brand.

  4. Thank you for your opinion, Linda. I blog for a lot of different women and many different brands…that is one reason I showed a black tunic today… I no longer wear black. This fall I will be seen in wonderful structured garments but also the stylish casual wear of Bryn Walker which hits my bohemian side beautifully!! I have enjoyed this brand for a long time.

  5. I love the hornbeam colour on you and the sweater in the second photo looks amazing. Her clothes are so comfy and the loose style is not for everyone, but are great for those days you want something fun and not wanting form fitting. There has to be an assortment of styles to choose from for every taste. I have to get her outfits online, however I did find one at a consignment store. Imagine that second sweater with a long flowy scarf wrapped around the neck and one end hanging in front and another down the back. Perfect for cooler weather….. just imagining.

  6. For bohemian style, I wear Johnny Was. I must admit the ones I like which is the peasant blouse does not make me look slim either, but I still like them!

  7. Wow! None of these are “me,” but maybe they should be! They are simply, totally gorgeous on you. The green tunic at the top is so versatile and flattering, and so perfect for a work at home wardrobe, travel, evening with metallic accessories. The lines of these pieces are very sophisticated, almost designer runway … kind of what I think you were reaching for last year when you were trying to define elegance in a casual wardrobe.

  8. Thanks for also seeing the sophistication here! I agree that some of their styles can be worn with the right accessories for an elegant touch!

  9. When we feel good in what we’re wearing, it shows! You’re beaming. The colorful tunics over slim-leg pants are a winning combination. With your beachy hair and big smile,, Pam, you could run for office. (I’m loving that green color.)

  10. I also love that glasswing color – SO pretty! I clicked on the skirt. $120 seems a bit pricey for french terry, but perhaps this is a substantial weight and would hold up for many seasons of wear. Did you feel the material was as thick as a standard sweatshirt Pam? Also, was the skirt you tried on true to size for you?
    Thanks, and Happy Sunday! 😊

  11. Yes, it is like a standard sweatshirt. For what it is worth, I have owned Bryn Walker garments for years and they wash well and hold up…Still wearing some from 8 years ago!

  12. Thanks for introducing me to Bryan Walker! I don’t live near a Dillards, so without your posts, I may never have discovered this line! I love the green top in the first photo – the color is gorgeous, and the style would be easy to dress up or down.

I also really like that you showed these oversized tops styled with the long straight skirt. I don’t wear leggings, but do love a long skirt, and can see it worn with boots and tights as the weather gets cooler!

  13. I like all the manikins and colors today. I do wear loose tops with leggings in the fall and winter. You look great.
