Happy Thanksgiving – an important holiday

Happy Thanksgiving - An important holiday

HAPPY THANKSGIVING,AMERICA!  As I wish you a happy Thanksgiving, I also want to acknowledge what an important holiday it is.

Not only is it a day to encourage gratefulness…no matter what…it is also…

A day to recognize this moment in history…when diverse people sat down together to celebrate the bounty of working together.

What a beautiful story that must be told every year from generation to generation.  It is pretty important!

  2. I hope you and your family have a wonderful day…I took the short cut this year, and ordered from the grocery store, so all I need to do is heat up the Turkey breast, and the sides…im making one of my own…green bean casserole from scratch, hubby favorite .

  3. Happy happy Thanksgiving to you Pam, and the same to all your family! My festivities came to screeching halt as one if our three year olds grands just got Covid ( we all tested yesterday before going to our daughter’s home today). His twin is negative . Such is life! They are no longer hosting. It’s off.
I will have a lone small Turkey in oven I guess. Disappointing to be sure but I am blessed to have them close by. Enjoy your day Pam! Such a happy holiday!

  4. Paulette, I am so sorry! I wished you were nearby…we would include you in the meal. Might I suggest that your family reschedule the meal to the first of January and have a Thanksgiving for New Year celebration!! Something to plan for and look forward to!
