What I wore to the Christmas Play

What I wore to the Christmas Play

Merry Christmas Eve! Today, is my last pre-Christmas Day event.  I thought I would share with you what I wore to the Christmas Play.

One of the greatest joys of being a grandparent is to re-live all of those moments we enjoyed so much with our small children…like the Christmas Play!

This Christmas Play featured my pre-school granddaughter and grandson…and was so, so sweet.

WHAT I WORE TO THE CHRISTMAS PLAY

What I wore to the Christmas Play

I introduced this wonderful no-iron plaid tunic to you the day after Thanksgiving in this post.

Foxcroft gave me such a perfect tunic to wear with my faux leather leggings this year.

I am so glad I kept these leggings in the big purges from the past year…I wore them often for the holidays…and will probably most of the winter season.

Foxcroft and me

The tunic has been seasonal, flattering and fun.  I felt confident where ever I wore it.

And no-iron is so great when holding and hugging on young children!

I only wish I could pull off a big red bow like my granddaughter can!

What I wore to the Christmas Play

It was my grandson’s first year to be in the play, and he did great…it was all just perfect.

She had her first lines to say and recited them with excellence. Of course, we were all super proud.

Their baby sister was able to attend this year and was their biggest fan!

THE FAMILY FUN BEGINS TODAY

What I wore to the Christmas Play

If all goes as planned, our family fun begins today.  We have a tradition to go to church and later open one gift.

This year we are adding tamales at my son’s house…tamales, Christmas and San Antonio go together like holly & ivy to make up traditions for many families here.

I hope the lights will be shining brightly at your house as well.

THANK YOU!

You have blessed me in many, many ways this year….you just will never know how much!

Have a blessed Christmas Eve!  There will be a Christmas message and a Joy Note this weekend!  Love you all….

  3. Merrry Christmas to you all. After so much prep for the holidays, do take time to enjoy all you have done. How wonderful to be able to hug and enjoy your beautiful grandchildren and make all those fun memories for them. Joy to you all.

  4. Great holiday look, for sure! Your littlest granddaughter reminded me of Cindy Lou Who – so cute with her blonde locks tied up on top like that. Each of the grands are just as precious as can be! Had our early Christmas this week with my boys, and today head back south to celebrate with my folks. Just dodging the snow here, but anticipating white on Christmas night at home. Happiness and Joy to you and yours, and all the fellow readers! 🎄💖🙋‍♀️

  5. Your darling grandchildren bring such a big smile to my face, but a little mist to my eyes since our grands are mostly grown now…those days of church and stage performances almost over. What wonderful pictures of you, Mr. B,, your son, and grandchildren. You bring much happiness, joy, and pleasure to my morning daily, and I sincerely appreciate your efforts to bring us something different every day. I hope you, Mr. B, and your family all have a joyful and merry Christmas!

  6. More sweet memories to cherish! I’m sure this will just one of many Christmas programs that you will attend. Enjoy every one of them, as time passes so quickly. Merry Christmas to you & your family.

  7. Love seeing your family, Pam! What adorable grandchildren! We are with three of ours this Christmas. Things are much more restricted here due to escalating Covid numbers, so it’s just us hunkered down at our daughter’s house with her family. No one going anywhere except Grandpa and the kids spending some outdoor time on the tobogganing hill. So nice to be together though! Merry Christmas to you and yours!

  8. Merry Christmas, Pam!
You are blessed with such a lovely family!!

Looking forward to another enjoyable year with your blog!

  9. Hi Pamela,

The grandchildren are so adorable, just beautiful, but look at the parents and grandparents
    what could go wrong.
Pamela, you look beautiful in your Christmas plaid Foxcroft tunic, and Mr. B. has such a winning smile.
Hey, that is a fabulous Christmas card that you featured in today’s blog.
Be in “JOY,” my hubby and I are. We just made a Barefoot Contessa Old Fashioned Apple
Crisp, made with Honeycrisp apples. I took a little taste and we “nailed it.” Yippee.
    A Blessed Christmas Eve.
