Shopping Loft with Leigh & Me

Shopping with Leigh & Me

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!  Today I am going to take you Shopping at Loft with Leigh & Me.

Leigh Ann and I continue to be impressed with Loft every time we stop by.

Their quality,  current trends, and prices always impress us. I say the prices because they always seem to have an amazing sale going on!

I am really surprised at how impressed I am with the fit for a larger Misses, and with styles that work for all ages.

So, let’s get started with what we liked the most and the top…..

SHOPPING LOFT’S LOU & GREY

Shopping Loft

For the first time among these trips, we were impressed with Loft’s Lou & Grey line the most.

The top we are both wearing is the Signaturesoft Lite Poncho…and it is super soft and comfy!  It is definitely for those comfy, causal stay at home moments!

I wore it with the Feel Good Joggers in Forest Green, and Leigh Ann wore it over the hands-down “look of the day”. See next picture!

This Lou & Grey Sandwashed V-neck jumpsuit was made for Leigh Ann….and women like her.

It was such a great fit and so comfortable, she decided it would be perfect for a special dinner out when she heads to Hawaii soon.

Most of us balk at jumpsuits because of that pesky”bathroom” issue, but for a dinner date and not long term, we decided it is perfect.

The feel of this fabric is luxurious and the fit…well you can see…is awesome.  She actually Is wearing a size small.  Another great reason for shopping Loft.

With a coupon she received in her email, she closed the deal at 50% off.

And for all of the reasons, I selected it as our shopping look of the day!!

SHOPPING LOFT WITH LEIGH

Leigh Ann always looks good in what she finds at Loft and does go between the regular and petite sizes in order to seek the best fit.

In our opening picture, she is wearing a size Small in the Floral Tie-Neck Puffed Sleeve.

Now, I realize you are accustomed to seeing her in Medium sizes, but this girl has been working hard.  She works out daily, places tennis, and has cut out sugar for several weeks…it has paid off!

The pants are a Marshalls’ find.

Now, these pants looked great on her…are a fun spring print…and fit like a glove.

She is wearing The Riviera Slim in a floral and size 8P.  Super cute pant.

She is wearing it with the Harbor Tee.

Finally, Leigh Ann tried on the Floral Flutter Sleeve V-Neck Dress.  Dresses like this prove valuable as the heat increases in South Texas.

It is also available in a midi-length style.

I found several pieces that I liked…though I only took two home…it was a tough call.

I love the way the design of this Bouquet Ruffle Tie-neck Blouse combines the gingham and floral prints.  It has a nice feminine, springtime touch to it.

The green is saturated and really pretty.

For cute comfort, I did like this Striped Dolman Henley Top.  Would be cute with light denim.

Here is a really fun spring/summer top for the other Vibrant Autumns out there!

I cannot find it online, but I decided to show you what it looks like in case you see it in one of your stores.

This Flutter Sleeve Tie design is in several options at Loft.

And here it is….the first blouse that Leigh Ann and I each purchased one and the same.

We both loved the fit…the fun print…the fabric feel….and how cute it was as a topper as well.

The fabric is so soft, yet has body to hold up and I believe would pack very well.

The first time I wore it under a cardigan, I received a compliment at the dentist office.  I will style it for you soon.

This Is the Patchwork Bloom Every Day Pocket Blouse.

I also purchased the Spring Bloom Every Day V Neck Tee because I can do so much with it for warmer weather.

I also like for Vibrant autumns this Everyday V Neck tee in Rapture Red.  Available in several colors.

Last garment I wanted to show you is the Spring Bloom Duster, over the Relaxed Chambray Pocket Shirt.

Thank you so much for shopping Loft with Leigh and me!  We enjoyed this trip and found many things that we liked.  The fabric choices are really nice for spring.

A reminder:  This is the last day to put your name in the hat for the Spring Box Giveaway, just click this link, go to that post and enter in the comments.

I will draw a name tonight and announce the winner tomorrow.   There are a lot of names in the hat this time, but I promise to shake it up well!

I also have one more special surprise for tomorrow…so I hope to see you all back then!

Until then…………………………..

KEEP SMILING!!

  1. I have not been to the Loft in some time but now am contemplating going! Love all these spring outfits! I think the bright colors really cheer me up especially with the drab weather lately! Love the jumpsuit and green ruffled blouse the best! The flutter sleeve top is beautiful on you! I am very self conscious about my aging arms. My issue I am sure. Do you think wearing a short sleeve tee shirt under would look silly? I thought about trying that since I see so many pretty tops on line. I haven’t tried it but was thinking about how to alter the look so I would be comfortable.

  2. I don’t think it looks silly, Kat. But of course, I do that. Try it once and see what you think…..

  3. I do not enjoy shopping at all, so I really appreciate these posts. Fun to see what you two have found, and gives me ideas for myself before I head out there.😳

  4. I have never been into a Loft store but your selections have encouraged me to go look to determine how their sizes fit my body. I used to wear jumpsuits when I was still teaching, and could go for long periods of time without needing to get out of one…though probably not the case today! You have shown us several items I really like although I never wear short sleeves without a third piece. I especially like that duster as a third piece.

  5. Pam, do you recall what size the duster was that you modeled at the end? That pattern is so cute and I’m wondering if it is cut generously enough for me to use as a swimsuit cover. I have a solid blue tankini set over which it might look adorable.

  6. It is a large, Connie. It would be a cute swimsuit coverup, but it is more form fitting than many dusters. I would not call it a generous fit.

  7. Both of you look healthy and radiant in your try-ons today! We have a Loft in another suburb that I don’t head to very frequently. I will check it out, at least for size, when I’m over there. At one time, I thought their quality wasn’t there, and stopped going, but I find most stores cycle through “stages” like that and then are worth another look.

  8. I believe it is worth checking out! And thank you…I love someone to say I look healthy!!

  9. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a Loft. I have a friend who loves to shop there while I have better luck at the regular Ann Taylor. I did order a shirt after your last post from there and it’s enormous (got a small) so I’m thinking I’ll belt it and roll the sleeves. I just don’t like ordering online for this reason. You both found some cute things, and I especially like the duster. In one of the pictures I can see you wearing it through the mirror and it looks so colorful and pretty. That piece would have definitely tempted me!!

  10. Where did Leigh purchase the necklace she is wearing in the ‘shopping look of the day?’ It is quite lovely!
