Stopping by JJILL

stopping by JJILL

Happy Friday, all!  How was your first week in July?  Let’s have fun as today I am stopping by JJILL.

I found myself stopping by JJILL to also try on sizing and check out the colors they have featured for warm palette ladies.

Overall, I was able to size down on everything at JJILL which put a smile on my face for shopping!

For my stop this time, I went into the location at the Quarry Market…lovely sales associates!

As soon as I saw this cardigan online, I wanted to go try it on ….the color is for my vibrant autumn palette and I needed a shorter, lightweight cardigan.

This is the Ribbed -Pocket Front Cardigan in Cape Cod Red…and it comes in five colors.

I purchased this one on the spot along with the Pima Slub V-Neck Tee in Cape Code Red…it comes in 11 colors!

I was armed with my birthday month perk, so I made sure these two left with me.

This outfit has a bit of Coastal Grandmother Style to it.

This is the Hooded Open-Stitch Cardi in Khaki….

Paired with the Bellissima Tasseled Top and the High Rise Denim Cuffed Crops in white (five colors available)

This top greeted me at the door.

It is the Jacquard Ruffled-Sleeve Top with the Pure Jill Affinity Slim-Leg Crops in chocolate…all they had was a TALL size and these were longer on me than a crop.

I do like the chocolate color in a pant and would like to add that to my wardrobe at some point.

The sales associate actually recommended that since I am still losing weight that I wait for a while to purchase pants.

I am in between sizes and decided that was good advice.

This is a fun outfit for a cool palette casual lady.

I am wearing the Fit Breathe Cotton Leggings in navy blue multi with the Fit Elevate Terry Elbow – Sleeve Sweatshirt in white (comes in three cool colors).

I tried this top on for size because I liked it in the Cape Cod Red, but they only had larger sizes.

This is the Linen Tab-Sleeve A-Line Shirt in Nectar White.

Stopping by JJILL

I could not see me stopping by JJILL without stopping by the sale rack.

This jacket was the only thing that said “try me on” but if you look at the top of my arm and shoulder, you will see where there is a pouffy fit.

I liked it, but decided the fit was just now exactly where it needed to be.

I am watching the JJILL sale items closely though.  They just added an additional 40% off the sale items which shows in your cart…here are a few in the sale….

Plus, this Sunlight Shibori Tie-Dye Scarf is lovely…and at a great price with the 40% additional savings.

Stopping by JJILL

While I was stopping by JJILL, Leigh Ann and her Mr. T was taking a day trip to somewhere new!

They headed out to Tarpley, Texas in our beautiful hill country.  It is near Bandera which is some of the prettiest country in the state.

The highlight was a visit to GUY FIERI Diners Drive-ins and Dives where Mr. T enjoyed the famous Red Deer Burger with sweet potato fries.

That checks another box for us on our Summer to Flourish list from The Magnolia Journal!

Thanks for joining in today for stopping by JJILL…please share any thoughts or questions…and for now and the weekend ahead….make sure….you….

Summer with Leigh & Me

  1. Such beautiful things Pam!! I love shopping at JJill and find it perfect for my current stage of life. They have casual, but polished styles. You made some great choices and the colors are so rich….love the Cape Cod Red you are wearing and I’m thinking that would be a perfect piece to add for fall and winter. I’ll spend some time on their site today. They had a sweater I should have bought back in May, and never forgot about it, but possibly it’s on sale now… have to check that! You look great in all of these pieces. It had to be a very positive experience to try on and have so many possible choices. My sister and I are going to check out Eileen Fisher at Dillard’s today (sale), but I’m looking forward to looking at JJill later on when I get home after seeing your successful shopping trip! That red color is calling my name!

  2. Make sure and check their sale racks…you might find a surprise or two. Have fun at Dillard’s as well. Happy Friday!

  3. I recently bought that very warm khaki/beige-hard-to-describe neutral jacket you had on at the end, at a great sale price. I’ve been eyeballing the patio red cardigan and the open weave hoodie sweater too. And I thought I saw a patio red linen mixed media shirt hanging in the dressing room … if so, I have it in a brilliant shade of turquoise. I hit the sales rack pretty hard a few days ago! After a long hiatus from JJill, which I felt was characterized by a certain dreariness the last few years, I’m glad to be shopping there again. Their clothes fit me well, and suit a casual, active lifestyle. I’ve had good luck with their Fit line, which I bought for the first time last year. They have held up well to wear and washing.

  4. Fun seeing what you found at the shop! Clicking through the carousel, I was taken with the beautiful little ‘blue lagoon’ cardi, then found both that and the ‘mango’ color still available AND on sale. 💃 YEAH! I hope all the readers take advantage of how easy you make these purchases via the direct link. These little beauties are coming home to live in my closet. 🤗

  5. I was thinking yesterday how many ‘old’ clothes I have from JJill as I used to shop there a lot when my office was near their store. Now, not so much as I don’t care for the oversize clothes they feature … BUT … I had two items (cardi and shorts) that were in your pick list and they have really dropped in price and are such a good deal. I decided to buy now since you featured them and had the links available! That Cape Cod red is not really my color but it’s really nice on you.

  6. Wow! Great choices, Pam. Love that Cape Cod Red. I need to look at that in person with my palette in hand. Isn’t it nice that autumn retail shopping is around the corner? Not that I am trying to rush summer. I have found more pared down items this year at Jjill.
I wanted to comment that I am also a lifetime member of WW. I need to sit down and read yesterday’s post. I need a jumpstart!! I have been naughty. You are showing progress. Congratulations!
