September picks at Chico's

Happy Thursday, ladies!  Today I would like to share with you some of my September picks at Chico’s.

I stopped by one of our wonderful San Antonio locations last week to see what September holds and I was not disappointed.

My September picks at Chico’s are for this audience…so you will see me in neutrals, different colors from my palette, and prints.

As I wrote in August, Chico’s is really bringing their best for Fall and it has been fun to shop.

So, let’s get started….

SEPTEMBER PICKS AT CHICO’S: NEUTRALS

This was my favorite outfit of the day.

I love the Brown Faux Leather Shacket in the rich creamy light oak color.

It looks so good with these So Slimming Girlfriend Jeans in Cocoa Bean, and the Cool Touch Beaded Polished Tank in Cocoa Bean.

In fact, one of the reasons I stopped by was to use my Rewards Certificate, so I bought the jeans and tank.

I am enjoying the new Rewards Program so much…all the benefits of the old Passport program + rewards to use on future purchases.

The shacket is on my wish list.

If I wore cool colors, this sweater would be on my wish list, but I tried it on for all of the cool palette ladies out there.

Now, let me tell you, that I cannot locate this online…just yet…it may be for the next collection.

But, it is very pretty and would be lovely for the holidays.  It is called the PULLOVER SWEATER with JEWELLED DETAIL, STYLE #570320355.

You can use this information to watch for it, or talk with your local Chico’s style representatives about it.  Would look so good with black.

Let’s keep going with my September picks at Chico’s in neutrals.

This is another beautiful sweater.  It is the CAVIAR TRIM V-NECK SWEATER in pale stucco heather.

Lovely sleeve detail, and it looks so nice with the Cocoa Bean jeans.

SEPTEMBER PICKS AT CHICO’S: PRINTS & DETAILS

Of course, this time of year sweaters are the story.

I was pleased to see many options with the round hemline…more flattering than a standard hem.

This sweater comes in 8 colors.  I am wearing fuchsia pink and this is the Sleeve Detail V-neck Pullover Sweater.

I am thinking about it in the Classic Navy.  The detail on the sleeves is subtle and very nice.

The pink looked really nice with these Pull-on Embellished Ankle Jeggings.

Most of you know what a fan of jeggings I am and these would work with just about any color on top…you can see the touch of brown within the cool colors.

The V-neck pullover sweater is a popular style and also available in prints.

This is the Floral Print V-neck pullover sweater in a print called deep chianti.

It would look nice with just about any color on the bottom…in a casual denim or nice pant.

Now, I am a fan of the button detail at the bottom of slim leg pants and jeggings…though I know there are so who are not.

I like a little touch of creative style just to set them apart.  I tried the sweater on with these Button Hem Pull-on Jeggings in Natural Cream.

Here is a sweater for the creative, fun group.

This is the Paisley Print V-Neck Pullover Sweater.…same design as the others.

This sweater and the top below look great with this next pant in camel.

This is the Brigitte Rivet Hem Slim Ankle Pant in Camel.  It is available in seven colors.

SEPTEMBER PICKS FROM CHICO’S: A LITTLE BIT MORE

I tried this top on because so many of us in different palettes can wear NAVY.

This is the Modern Paisley V-Neck Top in Classic Navy.

My September picks at Chico’s definitely include this Traveler’s Zebra Print Dress with the fabulous Animal Print Statement Bib Necklace.

  1. My goodness you certainly had a full dressing room!! Thank you for previewing the latest offerings Pam! I haven’t been to Chico’s in several years but do like their tee shirts for wearing under jackets and sweaters, and could use a few replacements! I’m going to round up my friend when we get back from our respective trips because she has great luck at Chico’s and the nearby Loft. I can look for the tee shirts and duck into Talbot’s. And, of course, lunch… thank you for the inspiration!

  2. Thanks for the Chico’s (my favorite store) fashion show. The Paisley Print V-Neck Pullover Sweater and the Modern Paisley Sweater are YOU. The colors give you a bright and fresh fall look and are great with your hair. On your wish list, I hope?

  3. Thanks for being here! Always glad to greet fellow Chico’s fans! There are beautiful selections for fall!

  4. Oh so sad Chicos clothes don’t fit. Especially pants. I don’t have hips! And they used to have a variety of pant shapes : apple, etc but no longer. Oh well. I buy some of their smaller jewelry.

  5. I agree E, when I came to the Modern Paisley top with the camel pants, I thought they were fabulous on you Pamela!

  6. Fun shopping session! I love those embroidered jeans on you. Very flattering. I popped into Marshall’s yesterday and saw several of the faux suede jackets; as you have pointed out they seem to be on trend this season. None was in a cut or color for me, but I did pick up a cozy marled cardigan as well as the cutest open plaid v-necked pullover sweater in a refined knit. Can’t wait to pop that under my cream colored vest and add a soft floral scarf for contrast with the geometry of the plaid. Planning some in person browsing this weekend as I’ll be up north visiting my boys in Portland. Then I’ll order online through your links since you’re my style inspiration. 😉

  7. I have a Chico’s $15 birthday coupon to use by the end of the month….I hope I can at least find something on sale since I don’t want to spend $$$$$. I do love Chico’s clothes but new trends toward prints don’t do anything for me. Oops…did I say that? lol

  8. I strongly agree about their pants, Susan. Their leggings, however, do nicely for me. You might want to give them a try.

  9. I agree with you about the rounded hemline being more flattering than the straight banded hemline. The tunic length of most of these tops doesn’t work for me, though, especially with wider pant legs this fall.

  10. I always enjoy your posts when you showcase dressing room try on’s especially at Chico’s. I find the store overwhelming with too much color and patterns; it takes me awhile to navigate around the place! When you model the clothes it makes it so much easier for me to shop! Last week I attended a lunch with 6 women and we all admired one gal’s white Chico’s blouse; wouldn’t you know each one of us separately headed to the store to purchase it! There is no better advertising than seeing a garment worn by a peer. BTW, are those Ilse Jacobson shoes?

  11. Hi Linda, the shoes are a brand called Comfortiva that I found last year at Nordstrom Rack. They are great shoes!

  12. I am still wearing my skinny pants, jeggings and leggings. What’s on trend for me is what looks best on me. Thanks for bringing that up.

  13. These choices look lovely and could probably be adapted for a cooler fall climate like we are now having on Michigan. Perhaps you could make some suggestions that Chicos could provide. Thank you. I really enjoy your columns.
