New JJill Summer Arrivals
Happy Monday, all! Today, I would like to show you a few new JJill summer arrivals.
I stopped by last week to see what was new with the JJill summer arrivals and made a few discoveries I believed you would like to see.
Sometimes it is fun to have garments in our wardrobes which just speak summer and work for the many fun summer activities.
So, let’s get our morning beverage…cozy spot and look over new JJill summer arrivals.
NEW JJILL SUMMER ARRIVALS: FEATURING GAUZE
This section will feature JJill summer arrivals built around garments in gauze.
I can just envision this outfit at a Fourth of July party, or lake outing…I thought it was fun.
This is the LINEN FLORAL-EMBROIDERED PONCHO in the size S/L and in navy.
I topped it with the GOLDEN SUNSET STARFISH PENDANT.
And, styled it with the COTTON GAUZE STRAIGHT LEG CROPS. Note: I believe these are more wide leg than straight leg…just wanted you to know.
Before we leave ponchos, you may want to see this one: CABANA STRIPED CAFTAN…fun for a cruise.
It was not in store, but I believe adds a little chic to the summer fun.
If you are a fan of the cotton gauze in the JJill summer arrivals, then I believe you will like these tops.
This is the COTTON-GAUZE CAP-SLEEVE TOP in coconut shell and white.
I actually like the tops better in gauze than some of the other pieces…the feel of these in summer heat would be nice.
I believe these are more comfortable than the traditional knit tees.
This is the second COTTON-GAUZE CAP-SLEEVE TOP in navy blue/white.
And, you can make a summer suit look by adding these button down tops to the pants.
They are available in five summer colors.
This is the COTTON-GAUZE SPLIT-HEM TOP.…the sleeves do roll up nicely.
NEW JJILL SUMMER ARRIVALS: NEUTRALS ARE IN
This display captured my attention in store for the new JJill summer arrivals in neutrals…love white and khaki.
So, I tried on what I could from this collection.
We discussed last Saturday how lace is on trend for 2024.
This top is lovely, but it is heavy for areas with excessive heat…however, I can see this with many fall outfits…something to consider.
I have wanted to try it on ever since I saw it online. For me, it is a bit boxy…but it is also well made and worth consideration for some of you.
This is the CROCHET LACE TEE.
I tried it on with the PIMA STRETCH STRAIGHT LEG CHINO PANT in light coconut shell. I really like the pants.
This is another good top in the JJill summer arrivals.
I am wearing the UTILITY POPOVER SHIRT in coconut shell, and it does come in three more colors.
I am wearing an XL and so sorry that I did not pull it down on the side.
NEW JJILL SUMMER ARRIVALS: NEW TOPS
If you are in need of a casual navy top, I like this one…the fit and feel were great.
This is the COLLARED SHORT SLEEVE SWEATSHIRT in navy.
I have it on with the EMBELLISHED LINEN BLEND CROPS in navy.
I wore these into the store and will show you how I styled them over the weekend tomorrow.
I like them and have been wearing them often since I recently purchased.
This red topper runs large and I think you could safely size down on it.
This is the RIBBED DETAIL SHORT SLEEVE CARDI in pomegranate…it does come in three colors.
Again, if you went with the navy, then it could easily be worn into fall.
There is a color in the Wearever Collection that I just love. It is called BLUE AGAVE. A beautiful blue/green.
Blue Agave is the foundation color for this WEAREVER SOFT V-NECK TEE.
You can see that the XL on me looks more like a tunic top.
I am pleased to see that JJill is making more tops with the rounded bottoms…it is a slimming technique.
That is all I have for you today, ladies., in the New JJill Summer Arrivals. Let me know if you have any questions.
I will be here tomorrow with a couple of outfits I wore over the weekend…hope to see you then….as always…
STAY STRONG & KEEP SMILING!!

A special thank you to everyone who shops with my SHOPPING LINKS…your support is everything!
Hi Pam! Navy rules the day. I just love all of the stunning pieces you’re modeling, regardless of color! Beautiful you. Oooops Im off to dentist! 😳
I also have the dentist today, Paulette! Hope both of us do well! I am wearing a lot of navy these days in my personal wardrobe…so glad to have many options.
I like the chino pants too, a good summer neutral. Thanks for showing us all the possibilities.
You are such welcome, Debra!
Good choices today Pam! We have another hot one today, over 100. I love gauze or linen on days like this. At least there is a stiff breeze! I find the loose styles much cooler than structured closer to the body styles. I don’t have any gauze pants and those look comfortable. Good luck at the dentist today!
Hi Pam, thanks for the try on. I love seeing J Jill feature summer neutrals. My eye caught the deep teal v-neck top in your dressing room. The color is gorgeous. Did you try it on? I’m off to the periodontist to continue with my gum surgeries. Hope he can finish with this visit.
The gauze pants were very nice. Stay cool!
I hope all goes well! I actually purchased that top and plan to style it for you soon!
Hi Pam,
I have a question which is unrelated to today’s try-ons. My daughter is getting married next year and I need to start the search for a dress. What brand was the dress you wore to your son’s wedding. I thought the colors and style were beautiful on you. I have some autumn coloring as well and usually lean toward colors like blue and green. If you can give me the name of the maker or a link, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks.
Hope all went well at the dentist!
Hi Cindy, on my way to the dentist soon! Congratulations on the wedding…so exciting. My dress was by Kay Unger. You can find her dresses at Nordstrom and Dillard’s. Please consider using my shopping links if make a purchase. That brand carries many lovely designs.
I like the idea of gauze for summer. I have been contemplating ordering a three quartered sleeved white jacket I saw in a catalog as it would make a nice piece to wear inside those chilly restaurants & other highly air-conditioned spaces. I really like the stripes on the capped sleeved tops. The crocheted top is an example of not “cutesy”. It has a very sophisticated vibe.
I always enjoy seeing you visit my favorite store! Thank you for sharing these great new summer options. I have placed two JJill orders in the past week. I love their new “cranberry” color, although it feels more like a fall color to me. I also added two more pieces to my sage/tan/ivory summer capsule wardrobe and a simple black dress for staffing weddings. This is my first week in over a month that is not tightly scheduled, so I have time to straighten out my closet. I plan to use a rolling wardrobe rack to hold everything that currently fits me for summer, and then try to make sense out of my two walk-in closets. Hoping your dental visit goes well!
I agree on the crocheted blouse…nice way to say it, Becky!
I like having cranberry to wear all year. You should get a lot of wear from it, Lorrie!
I’m sorry to say that overall I found most of it very drab and drew. I didn’t even see a fun piece and this is where JJ is headed now. It will be a reason for me not to shop there. I’m glad you like what you found and seems that most of the women agree with you. Good luck at the dentist.
Hi Barbara, there are many women in this audience who love JJill. So, I am just curious, why the need to criticize a retailer that you don’t like. Why is this beneficial? Listening?
I stopped in at J Jill today and tried on a few things some that I will order from your links. I tried on the crocheted top and agree that its heavy. Its a lovely piece, a bit boxy and IMHO quite dressy. Not quite my normal style but I could see wearing it for an event styled with slim pants or a long straight skirt. I saw some lovely pieces not in my color family and thought the quality overall was good. And the periodontist was able to finish my treatment so in 2 weeks I’ll be able to eat normally again.
Yay! Good day, Kathie! Thanks for share my your observations. My dental appointment went much better than I expected!!
My goodness! I was at the dentist today, too! I was raised that if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing. I love JJill. I loved you in all the choices. It gives all of us a realistic view of what might look good on ourselves.
Keep sharing your ideas and try-ons. I really enjoy your blog.
Thank you so much, Nancy! Hope your visit went well!
