Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Try On
Happy Monday, Friends! Because several of you asked for it, here is my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale try on.
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is open to all as of today.
Typically, the sale primarily features upcoming fall clothing, marked down for the first time at Nordstrom.
An associate shared with me that this year, there are more pieces that can be worn now on sale…mixed in with the fall.
Since we have been inundated with spring and summer clothing beginning last March, I decided to focus my try on time at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale with new pre-fall and fall arrivals.
I was surprised at how many things I saw online, and wanted to try on, that were not available in store…or limited to smaller sizes.
But, I do have some pieces many of you may want to see in today’s try on post.
So, let’s get started with my version of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE TRY ON: EILEEN FISHER
Before we dive into Eileen Fisher, allow me to re-introduce you to my Nordstrom stylist, Sydney.
She is the one who pulled the clothing for this try-on…after speaking with me.
Since I was pulling pieces for the audience, I did not specify colors to pull…just so you know.
You first met Sydney last year.
I was much smaller at that point and she was very understanding this time of my weight gain over the surgeries.
She is knowledgeable and very sweet…so anyone shopping the Shops at La Cantera should check her out for assistance at Nordstrom.
I began with Eileen Fisher, specifically this RAGLAN SLEEVE MERINO WOOL PULLOVER which is very comfy and soft.
I love the BLACKBERRY color…it is more like the eggplant purple than I enjoy wearing in my color palette.
If you love this color, don’t miss the EILEEN FISHER V-NECK SNAP FRONT WOOL CARDIGAN in blackberry.
Here is a color that will put a smile on some faces.
This is the BOXY MOCK NECK ORGANIC COTTON SWEATER in the color Blue Violet…such a happy color.
Of course, the sale is a wonderful opportunity to pick up quality basics for a basic-upgrade.
This top also comes in Blue Violet…I did not want to take it off…it is so comfortable and a good price in the sale.
This is the BATEAU NECK BOXY T-SHIRT…and just feels amazing.
Equally as comfortable to wear are the pants on the bottom and they come in that lovely Blackberry color as well.
They are the RIB WIDE LEG ANKLE PANTS, which are 33% Tencel Refibra™ lyocell, 32% Tencel lyocell, 31% organic cotton, 4% elastane…soft and comfy.
They are oversized and hit me more at the top of my foot than the ankle. I think on this one I could have sized down from the XL I am wearing.
I am considering them in the blackberry color and if I order, I will size down.
I tossed over the EF pieces, this incredible jacket from Vince.
If I were a cool palette lady, I would have purchased this jacket…it feels like butter and is such a casual chic perfect style.
This is the COTTON BLEND CHORE JACKET, which says it is off-white…but that is not a warm off-white…I would say it is WHITE.
Nevertheless, a beautiful jacket.
NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE TRY ON: TOPS
I first met the Halogen brand about five years ago, and I have been impressed ever since….quality with very reasonable prices.
This is the SATIN V-NECK TOP in vintage indigo blue and it is available in six varieties.
For those always looking for the perfect white shirt…give this one consideration because it is a great shirt for the $61.99 sale price.
I liked how the quality of the shirt felt.
It comes in three colors, and it is the HALOGEN LONG SLEEVE SATIN BUTTON UP SHIRT.
It is tight on my middle section at this time, but I could easily tuck it in.
Another good sale offering from VINCE.
This is the SILK BLEND POLO SHIRT in the cherry wine color, does come in cool color options. Flattering and comfortable.
Last year, I purchased a shirt by RAILS in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I loved that shirt with my jeans.

NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE TRY ON: COATS
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale features many coats of many varieties…I have a few to show you that Sydney pulled for me.
Personally, I wanted to try-on the LAUREN RALPH LAUREN QUILTED SHERLING COLLAR JACKET; however, It was not in store.
I think I am going to order and try it. This is a good price in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for Ralph Lauren.
This coat is in a color called Misty Blue…but that color is either not online or sold out.
The other two colors are nice though…this it the WALKER NOTCH LAPEL LONGLINE BOUCLE COAT…and it is very warm.
I think the cream color online in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is beautiful.
I have worn many Sam Edelman shoes in my lifetime, but never the clothing.
I like this jacket and since their shoes were excellent quality, I would expect the garments would be the same.
This one feels great and would such a wonderful casual winter jacket. It is the SAM EDLEMAN FAUX LEATHER & FAUX SHERLING MOTO JACKET.
Another BCBG coat in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
This is the BCBGeneration Double Breasted Herringbone Knit Coat…looks great, comfy, warm…good price.
Yes, this coat is oversized…designed to be that way.

NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE: ALL CAN SHOP
It was a very busy shopping day when I stopped by the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale…in fact, busier than last year, which honestly surprised me a little.
I had good talks with associates about trends they are seeing and I will use some of that for the Saturday 2024 Fashion Trends posts.

Love your selections, especially as you did not include the same items that at least three other bloggers have chosen! Nordstrom is a huge miss for petites, but I love the blue coat and will look for a similar color elsewhere. The Ralph Lauren jacket is really nice as well.

The Glen plaid coat caught my eye as I love wool plaid from my youth in Michigan. Our winters are more mild now here in southern Colorado. I haven’t worn a sweater in years, more comfortable in jeans and flannel shirts or long sleeve tees. I’m sure many of you ladies are cringing about now but I live in cowboy country. I do enjoy looking at all of the beautiful clothes you show us Pam.

Hey, Sydney, no cringing here in Southern Oregon. Like your Colorado, there’s plenty of cowboy/country culture on display and in clothing, especially since I live in a small rural town.
I never cringe at cowboy style…it’s all around me.

I have not shopped the Nordstrom sale for years now but I do appreciate you scouting it out! Since retiring, changing my lifestyle and moving to this oh-so-hot climate, I have turned into a very selective customer and usually buy when I need it. While I see good savings on boots and coats, they are not on my radar anymore. Good to see that blackberry color and the blue violet; love the cropped jackets! Like someone else commented, I read you first thing in the morning! Thanks for what you do!
