Review of Franne Golde Fashions
Happy Monday, everyone! So excited to be back with you and begin with a Review of Franne Golde Fashions.
Mr. B and I had to take a quick, unplanned trip to assist some family, so I decided to put Franne Golde Fashions to the test.
Representatives of this brand contacted me recently to ask if they could send a few selections for my review.
After I did a review of the website, frannegolde.com, I quickly agreed and am ready with a review of the first outfit.
So, please join me as I introduce you to Franne Golde Fashions.
REVIEW OF FRANNE GOLDIE FASHIONS: MEET FRANNE GOLDE
Franne Golde is originally a Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter and now the creator of her own fashion brand.
Her mission is to make it easy for us to look and feel our best every day. She is another advocate of elevated casual style by creating chic, comfortable clothes.
Her venture into fashion began with a desire for a great fitting pair of pants.
Franne searched and searched and finally decided…if she could build songs from nothing, then she could create the perfect pant.
She writes,
I didn’t know the first thing about the fashion industry, but I was determined. I spent years learning, testing, and making mistakes. I grew discouraged so many times, but I kept going, tracking down the right fabrics, finding pattern makers, cutters, and sewers. It took hundreds of tweaks to get the pants exactly how I envisioned them: a flattering fit that came up to my waist, wouldn’t break or pinch, and was forgiving when I ate a good meal. I wanted to look sleek and pulled together without shapewear. A tall order? Yes! But I learned that persistence and resilience do make dreams come true—and thus our best-selling Magic Pant was born.
I have in my possession a pair of Magic Pants and will style them for you soon.
These pants have been so successful, that she built upon the success to create Franne Golde Fashions.
She has created chic, comfortable, timeless styles we can add our own unique twist to with accessories and toppers.
REVIEW OF FRANNE GOLDIE FASHIONS: MY DRESS
When I received the CREPE GAUZE MAXI DRESS in navy blue, I thought it would be perfect for the Fourth of July Pool Celebration.
So, I rolled it up and packed it in my suitcase.
This is a great travel piece…it rolled out perfectly…no wrinkles at all.
You can see it is sheer which is perfect for a summer party by the pool if you would like a little more coverage than a traditional swimsuit coverup.
I was cool and comfortable in the dress.
And…even though I was celebrating with cool water…it was a great celebration dress.
So, my review is…I am impressed with Franne Golde, so far.
The dress is everything they promised…chic, comfortable, easy, timeless, and a piece I can change often to speak my own style adjectives.
They did send more selections and I will share them with you very soon.
Let me know if you have any questions…
This is a brand that is not paying me as an affiliate so far…they just asked that I try their clothing…and I thought Franne Golde Fashions deserved a shout out for good work.
Let me know what you think of this woman owned business.
I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday weekend and I thank you for the kind salutations you sent my way.
I hated having to leave without giving you fresh content, but it was a quick decision.
Several have asked that I get back to creating videos and do more…I am really going to try my best to work that out. Let me ponder it.
REGENERATIVE SKINCARE BY BRIAN WEEKLY SPECIAL
Time for the BY BRIAN REGENERATIVE SKINCARE summer weekly special, and I completely understand why this one is a best seller.
Te RE-CREATION LIP TREATMENT is amazing. I love how smooth it makes my lips…how diminished the lines around my lips are…and how it helps the lipstick stay longer and look better.
This is a treatment worth including in your daily skincare.
Now, this week through Sunday, you can get it for 25% off with the savings code: smoothlips.
And remember…Brian is available to meet with you online through his MASTER CLASS OR ONE-on-ONE VIDEO MEETINGS.
Let me know if you have questions. I am so glad to be back with you and now until tomorrow….

Remember: Right now, there are MAJOR SALES HAPPENING...that will continue throughout July.

Question: you live in one of the hottest places in the US. What are your most comfortable summer pants? I can’t imagine wearing jeans in this heat!
Hi Anne, I am born and raised here so accustomed to the heat. To wear an occasional lightweight jean does happen. However, this year my favorite pants to wear are linen. I love my linen pants.
The magic pants sounds good, does she have petite available? Looking forward to seeing more of her clothes.
It would be great if it weren’t so sheer and maybe a little more generously cut around the middle. It looks tight under the arms, like its pulling. Color is great, dont know about the fabric and how it washes. I have several similar, I do not go to pool parties, but I do wear them around the house and can run errands, run into the supermarket, wearing them with my usual under garments, but that is a bit shear to do the same.
Welcome back! What a lovely new line to ponder. I wish there were more deep autumn choices, but I may try the pants. I wonder how they compare to Quince. You look lovely in that navy dress. What are you supposed to do about transparency if it is not used as a beach cover up? You look lovely in that photo! Great necklace with it ! I hope that you can become an affiliate. Women supporting women.
The sheer is perfect for summer…especially over a swimsuit or on a cruise. The arms are not tight at all..sorry it appears that way. This is a special piece that would be more for wearing outside of the house.
I will show you more soon, Audrey.
I think if I wore this to a summer event, I would wear it with a bike short underneath. For me, it works well for the pool and I would take it on a cruise for sure. I might even wear it for a beach wedding. I believe their plan is to produce quality neutral basics, but if I see different colors I will let you know. The Magic Pants do come in an olive green. Thanks Deborah.
You certainty look better than the model! I wouldn’t consider the dress if shopped solely from the model.
You look lovely in the dress. Thanks for modeling it for us.
Happy to do so…thanks for the kind words…if I look better than a model…I am smiling!
Thanks for modeling the dress. It looks great on you and it should work well as a cover up. Lots to be said for this line. Their website is designed well. I really appreciate a company listing clothing measurements and telling us the 5’8″ model wears a size S. I really like the minimalist vibe of the clothing. But most of the offerings are not petite friendly and very few items are offered in warm colors. I think her primary target audience is women who need quality items for work and going out. At that price point I would say professional women. This line would have appealed to me when I was working and had a different social life as well. I look forward to seeing you style the pieces. Happy Monday.
Thanks for sharing your observations, Kathie.
This line reminds me of EF. I enjoyed my look around the website because, as I rebuild my wardrobe, I intend to do so around good quality basics. I just bought a lovely wool Vince cardigan for fall, and chose it in a neutral camel color. I hope to wear it for years. That’s the way these FG pieces strike me … accessorize to stay current (and interesting, which is one of my adjectives), and have a curated closet. When you review the magic pants and continue to wear the dress, please update us as you did for the Quince silk: the fabric, construction, laundering and quality.
I will. I hope to get some pictures in the Magic Pants soon. I agree that the line is very similar to EF.
Glad that you are back okay. The dress looks nice on you but nothing to write home about. No petites, all polyester – so not in my wheelhouse. Looking forward to summer.
Interesting new clothing line Pam. Thank you for sharing it. Will watch for more of your thoughts on it in the future.
Barbara
Thanks Barbara…I will share with everyone the pieces they provided me for review.
What do you mean looking forward to summer, Maeve? Do you live somewhere that it is not summer? Just wondering….
Hi, Pam, I was in the Canadian Rockies on vacation and it was chilly — jacket weather for sure. Now I am just back home in RI, and, it’s hot here. I haven’t been to the beach yet or anything though. So my summer hasn’t really started.
Welcome back, and thank you for introducing us to this unfamiliar brand. You look fabulous in the dress-very “summer chic!” I look forward to checking out their website, and to seeing the other pieces you style for us.
Hi Lorri…looks like rain is headed your way…wish we had received some of it…but I am think about those areas of the state hardest hit this morning. So glad to see you here and I will have more from this brand later.
I had to smile when I saw your comment…very soon, I will be hoping summer moves quickly by. LOL!
I saw a dress on the FG website that I think will work well for me (fingers crossed). There is a 30% sale going on right now. Thank you for introducing us to FG!
You are so welcome, Linda. Let me know if it works out!
Loving this style on you Pamela! As to the no wrinkles, it is my kind of dress as detest the former as well having to be a slave to an iron or steamer whereas to its sheerness IMHO wearing nude undergarments or a light weight half slip should solve the problem. Re the line itself and browsing the website; I do like the styles as not over voluminous plus read current ‘n fresh but do feel offerinng in color choice could be expanded.

Footnote: The weather where I am, summer just arrived last week so we just opened up our swimming pool which in previous years has been done around the end of May.
As always, Brenda, thanks for the ideas on undergarments! Enjoy your new summer up there!
Lovely dress! How is the sizing? True to size, a little small, big? Thank you
I would say true to size. This is an xL
LOVE that dress on you, Pam. I’ve been on the hunt for the “perfect” summer dress. So far, no luck. If this one wasn’t sheer, I’d consider it. It’s very nice!
It is nice. Look at the dresses in the Talbots Red Door Sale. Please click on Talbots on my shopping links page at the top of the blog. Great prices on summer dresses!
