2024 Fashion Trends: Jewelry
Happy Thursday, ladies! Yes, this is an extra trend report…come join in today for 2024 Fashion Trends: Jewelry.
Did you receive this new Chico’s mailer this week? It took me immediately to researching 2023 Fashion Trends: Jewelry.
We are entering the fall fashion front where trends pop up on a rapid fire basis, so occasionally I may post more than one 2024 fashion trends post.
I do this so you can see what you might already own, and give you ideas of how to refresh your style and look current for the upcoming season.
This is the fun of fashion that will assist us in looking youthful and confident when we dress each day…whether it is for work or meeting friends for lunch.
Today’s 2024 Fashion Trends: Jewelry…are easy ones and do not necessarily require purchases, but I do have ideas at many price points for you.
So, let’s dive into the joy of jewelry in an extra 2024 fashion trends post.
2024 FASHION TRENDS: BROOCHES
Brooches….or pins as some brands call them…are still in the 2024 fashion trends and it jumped out to me when I received the Chico’s mailer.
At the time of this post writing, these brooches are not on their website yet, but I was told will be before the middle of next week.
What began trending last year is how they are styled…with several brooches styled together on a lapel or sweater.
Also, many young adults…including men…are wearing and styling brooches this way.
I have also enjoyed wearing multiple ones at the same time….one of my favorite ways to do this last year was for Christmas outfits.
In my brooch slideshow, I have some very affordable options for you that would be easy to combine for the “multi-brooch look.”
2024 FASHION TRENDS: LAYERED NECKLACES
How we wear our necklaces is also in the 2024 fashion trends.
The layered-look is also called multi-strand look.
However, it is also in the 2024 fashion trends to just combine several necklaces together that are different ….yet compliment each other as you see here.
Some fashionistas are calling layered necklaces the statement necklaces of 2024.
I personally think that depends on how big a statement you desire to make with the trend.
The first picture in this section would be a statement…this picture would be a quite nod to the trend.
However you choose to do it, just know that wearing more than one together is in the 2024 fashion trends.
Here are some you might want to be inspired by or bring home to you…..

Chico’s has several multi-stand necklaces on sale now for $19.99. I’ve bought several and wear them often. I love the western silver items but I often feel lots of jewelry on my petite frame is too much. What famous stylist said something about look at yourself in the mirror before you go and take one item off? That’s me…I put on earrings and necklaces and bracelets, but end up with two of the three, or only earrings.
Thanks Celia! It was Coco Chanel who said that and I often think about it!
Like Celia, I put it on, look in the mirror, and usually take some pieces off. I have a ton of jewelry, both fine and costume. I inherited not only my mom’s box but both of my grandmothers’ boxes. I find that I do better wearing the brooches on my winter outerwear and the clusters on my lighter jackets. I just bought a 3 string necklace with autumn colored stones for 50 cents, so even though I wear less than half of what I own, I still buy! For years I made my own, taking apart strands from my collection and refashioning them. I love museum gift shops for the unusual and like bracelets in particular. I almost always pair them with 2 gold bangles my parents bought me in high school and one that my husband bought me with tiny diamonds. Today I have them on with a braided surfer bracelet. Love the mix of a natural classic! Recently I met a childhood friend for lunch. We both wore our own gold charm bracelets as well as our mother’s. We examined each one individually. What fun we had. Jewelry is so personal. I could discuss it all day! Thanks for inspiring me to play with more, particularly with layering my necklaces.
Have fun with it, Deborah! I also love to play with my jewelry!
Good morning Pam…great style ideas…Love the black dress and long necklace…which shop is the dress from?
Chico’s…but I did take this picture about a month ago!
Hi Pamela
Great post! I am going to do the multiple brooches trend. It looks fun and interesting. I also received the Chico’s mailer! You made me a customer of theirs Pamela – thank you! I saw some items to add to my ever growing buy list. We don’t get as much autumn weather as I’d like but I want to be ready. Pumpkin spice? Bring it on! In September please. For now, let’s wrap up the Olympics with more medals! USA! 😊🏅🇺🇸❤
I like the necklace trend of 2 or more, but I too am petite so I am limited. But it gives me variety without buying more items.
Looks like Team USA is busy doing just that, Sandra and bring on the pumpkin spice!
Yes it does, Audrey. Just play with it!
Wonderful post…I’m not great at layering necklaces, but bracelets are my go to…..combine fine jewelry with costume….now inspired to try the necklaces, but I look better with the more delicate layering…..
As I prefer an understated look, both these trends can be a bit overwhelming for me. I do like the Napier pumpkin pin from Kohl’s & think it would add a touch of fall whimsy to a blazer or jacket. For multiple necklaces, I think the longer more delicate pieces would be more in keeping with my personal style.
I love costume jewelry and find the quality of Talbots, White House Black Market (not on your shopping list yet), and Ralph Lauren to be some of the better ones. Chicos beaded bracelets are nice, but their metal bracelets tarnish too quickly. Just sharing my experiences.
I like that this trend gives us many ways to style what works best for us. Play with it Nancy and see what you think!
Starting with a simple pumpkin is a good way to go, Becky!
I will add White House to my shopping list later today, Anne. I have worn Chicos jewelry for over 20 years with very few issues, and I am a big fan of jewelry at Dillard’s!
I am petite and tend to be a minimalist when it comes to accessories so I don’t layer necklaces or wear multiple bracelets or broaches. In fact I haven’t worn a broach in a long time. With the exception of a few pieces I’ve received as gifts, all my jewelry is artist made. I’ve frequented galleries and art shows for years. I find distinctive pieces that I enjoy wearing and am often complimented on my jewelry. This post prompted me to get out the box where I store jewelry that I’m not currently wearing. I found 4 broaches and promptly made space for them in the jewelry armoire. Now to remember to pin on a jacket once its cool enough to want to wear one.
If I encouraged you to move some wonderful pieces forward for this year, then I am smiling, Kathie! That is a good thing. Hopefully on days that you want a little pizzazz, you will think of them.
Hello Pam! My comment is totally off topic but I want to thank you for not bringing politics into your blog. I have read a blog I thoroughly enjoy as I do yours, for a few years and her last post got political and of course the comments were hurtful. I come to blogs to escape the outside world for a few moments and get some advice on clothes, cooking and life. I don’t know if it’s your intention to not get political but I truly appreciate it. This is your blog of course you can do whatever you like.
Thank you!!
Hi Kelley, my long time followers asked me years ago to stay away from it so I do! I want everyone to feel accepted here and find this a place of encouragement and joy. We do occasionally disagree on fashion topics but for the most part, we get along as we should.
