2024 Fashion Trends: Fringe
Happy last Saturday of summer, everyone! Today, I continue looking over the 2024 Fashion Trends with a focus on FRINGE.
The 2024 Fashion Trends included a nod to “western” but it seems the only part of western we are seeing from brands is mostly with fringe treatments.
Of course, denim jackets and western boots count as well.
But, I did discover a few items with fringe that you may want to consider if you like the 2024 fashion trends.
In the first picture, you see a Karen Kane design at Dillard’s, the JERSEY KNIT CREW NECK LONG SLEEVE ASYMMETRICAL FRINGE HEM TOP.
Now, let’s consider a few more 2024 Fashion Trends: Fringe in several price ranges…..
2024 FASHION TRENDS: FRINGE
Here is a fun way to participate in the 2024 Fashion Trends at a very reasonable price….around $28!
This is the KOHL’S WOMEN’S SONOMA GOODS FOR LIFE REVERSIBLE FRINGED RUANA.
It comes in four colors and is an oversized outer garment.
Here is a new J.Jill arrival for fall in the Pure Jill collection.
I have not tried it on, but would probably size down on this one as well.
This is the PURE JILL JACQUARD FRINGE GILET.
I think it is a cool design and worth considering If you like participating in the 2024 Fashion Trends and have a creative bent.
Love the shades of blue this fall! This shade is called Teal Ocean.
This is from Talbot’s and is the TALBOT’S FRINGE KNIT PONCHO.
I also really like the neckline on this one….and it comes in four sizes in order to get the best fit.
Chico’s takes fringe to a casual chic level with this lovely jacket.
It is the CHICO’S MIX OF TWEED FRINGE JACKET.
Tweed and fringe work with this design!
If you would like a creative, simple way to wear fringe under a topper…cardigan or jacket…consider this one.
It also comes in black.
This is the BANANA REPUBLIC COTTON FRINGE SWEATER TANK.
For those looking for a little fringe on a denim jacket, then check out QVC.
This is the QVC DENIM & COMPANY CANYON RETREAT FAUX SUEDE JACKET WITH FRINGE in TWO COLORS.
Finally, if you would like interesting ways to participate in Western in the 2024 fashion trends, then checkout REBA at Dillard’s.
2024 FASHION TRENDS: NEW COLOR
Of course, the 2024 fashion trends include new colors…and I am taken with this one.
It is called Redwood, described as “as rich auburn that evokes mulled wine, maple leaves, and freshly split firewood.” (Gotta love it!)
This new color is from EILEEN FISHER, and includes many REDWOOD SELECTIONS.
Catherine Kane, the EF color manager said, “A classic autumnal tone, Redwood evokes the energy of its namesake tree.”
As a woman who wear vibrant autumn colors, this one has captivated me!
I hope this gives you some new ideas and inspiration for 2024 fashion trends and that everyone is thinking about fall …since it arrives tomorrow.
I will be here tomorrow with my Sunday Reflections and an explanation of what is happening here next week…moving begins in two days…do you hear me screaming??
Thanks so much for being here…now…

Did not realize fringe is a trend, but glad to know since I have several fringed items I wear routinely in cooler weather. Now just need for that cooler weather to get here where it’s still hot during the day. I also like the “redwood” color of the Eileen Fisher items as well as the maroon color of the fringed top from Dillards. I’m happy to see maroon as a popular color this fall. Here in South Georgia it is ALWAYS western wear trend so I see lots of fringe and western boots even with short, girly dresses…a trend which has not died here yet. Hope you and Mr. B get some rest this weekend before the big move begins.
Yes…wear your fringe, Celia. We are in full moving mode…don’t see it slowing down for a couple of weeks!
I like a little fringe and occasionally wear it as part of a piece of jewelry or at the ends of a scarf. I love a frayed hem or edge, which I think also is a kind of understated fringe. These elements hit my interesting adjective, but since I’m not creative or dramatic in my adjectives, a little goes a long way. I enjoy a -touch- of western, and absolutely love turquoise jewelry and big cuff bracelets, but adding a lot of fringe or heavy western detailing to an outfit incorporating turquoise jewelry would look like a costume in northern Ohio. I think it’s important to consider the overall look before adding something as bold as fringe. It’s been in the 90s here, but people are just shrugging their shoulders, pulling out the sweaters and turning up the air conditioning. Ohio is a conservative place, and becomes even more so fashionwise in the winter. Good luck with the move! It will be fun to see how you tweak our wardrobe for your new town.
Thanks for your fringe tips, Linda!
2 days 🤯 u got this 😎
Thanks Debra!
WOW. That is one rich, earthy color! I would love to see it trickle down to my stores so I could try it on. Can’t wait to re-examine this post! Good luck with your last minute things to do. You have been so generous in keeping us up to date with blog postings.
☺️ ha, ha, I love Linda’s description of Ohio folks so ready to move on to sweaters no matter the weather! I am not a wearer of fringe, though I do love a sassy touch of Western wear via a cowgirl boot or a bandana to contain the hair if going riding. I had two big silver belt buckles as a girl in Nevada, which I continued to wear after moving to Seattle and then on to college in Portland. They had been part of my regular riding attire. Happy memories!
Well, hang in there with all your moving tasks, and don’t forget to take a few breaks, stay hydrated. 🤗💕
Oh, how I love that Chico’s plaid jacket with the fringe!
Here you are, moving in two days, and posting another fabulous collection. Thank you for your efforts, and may your move go as smoothly as you wish.
Thank you, Cynthia…it looks like a great jacket. I just returned from a Talbot’s party and will have that for you on Monday!
I plan to go by Dillard’s in my new city and see if they have that color…it looks amazing, but I would like to actually lay eyes on it. Fall is such a busy time on this blog, I want to do what I can to keep all of you informed…around my crazy life.
Thanks Deborah.
Hydration for me is so important…I am downing water right now. From the land of Western Wear to Oregon…happy Saturday, Connie.
I hope we’ll be seeing more fringe items in the future. For me a little goes a long way but I think fringe can make an otherwise plain garment interesting. I really like it at the bottom of a sweater or as trim on a cowl neck. I have a fringed cowl that I wear in the winter. The Talbot’s poncho is darling and I’d be tempted if it was another color, like Redwood. Redwood is gorgeous and I hope to see more of it. Last year I bought “Deep Redwood” cords at J Jill. I really like the color and find it easy to style. Good luck with the final pre-moving prep.
I must have missed those cords last year, Kathie. I am really going to be looking for this color! Thanks for sharing.
As usual I am a few days behind in reading the blog. A couple comments regarding the move and such. If everything planned for the cars won’t fit in, just leave it in a tub in the corner of your house or the garage and let your son know. San Antone and Abilene are only 4 hours apart. That’s nothing. Pedal to the metal and you can make it in 3.5. Unless you get stuck behind a tracker. It’s not like you’re moving across the country and will never be back. Drive down for the next baby shower. Stay the night and drive back the next day. Plus you’ll get to see the little people! You won’t regret it.
Thanks April…I am ready…everything left behind will be on purpose approved by my son. But you are right, if something does get left, he will save it for us.
Tomorrow is my husband’s 83rd birthday. So we have. good friend coming over for dinner. He hates parties, so he always cuts that out annually. I’m not a fringe person even though I live in Colorado cowboy country. Please rest between tasks. As April said it isn’t that far to Abilene and you will be back to see the new babies. Good luck on your move.
Thanks for your post today.
I like fringe if it is a short trim. The new color redwood is interesting. Definitely need to see it
Wow, moving time is here, we will say a prayer for you and Mr. B.
Thank you for the prayers, Audrey!
Happy birthday to your husband!
Some of the fringe is not me, but they look great if you can pull it off. The jacket at Chicos has built in shoulder pads and it is a short jacket. If you’re petite it hits at about the waist or just a tad below.
Thanks for your observations, Linda!
