More fall outfits at Talbots
Happy Monday, friends! Welcome to my post reporting More Fall Outfits at Talbots!
Amidst the stress of moving, I love a good party to take my mind off of things, so when I was invited to see more fall outfits at Talbots….
I said…Count me In! And it was a full on party…complete with refreshments and savings.
I was excited to show you a few pieces from the Talbots new arrivals and to see the staff one more time.
Plus, I found something I have been looking for.
So, let’s sit down and enjoy more fall outfits!
MORE FALL OUTFITS AT TALBOTS: I FOUND IT!
Many of you know I have been looking for a new pair of leopard flats that are comfortable on my re-constructed foot.
And here it is! Such a nice surprise when I tried it on and the comfort was there! I am excited.
These are the very popular BRITTANY KNIT SLIP-ON SNEAKERS.
I had to order them in order to get my size, but I notice as I am doing this that they are going fast.
You could also call your nearby location and see if they have your size in the store….many times they are happy to ship them to you.
I wear leopard shoes like a neutral and I am so glad to have a pair on the way to my new home.
MORE FALL OUTFITS AT TALBOTS: CHIC AND WARM
The fall outfits at Talbots include several colors I am loving….dark teal ocean heather, burnt copper, and dark walnut are three of my favorites.
These are the fall outfits I had hanging in my dressing room and you can see how lovely they pair together.
The new collection of fall outfits at Talbots include several pieces to keep you warm!
For some of us, they may be too warm, but for many of you, they are worth the consideration in your colder climate.
This poncho is available in two solid colors and in a plaid. It is quite oversized so make sure that you size down.
It is the TURTLENECK PONCHO, and the dark teal ocean heather was my favorite one.
I can see this entire fall outfit on a fall hayride or at Fall Festival…it perfect if the weather is chilly.
Underneath the poncho, I am wearing the PIMA CREWNECK TEE, in the burnt copper color.
Burnt Copper is very close to the burnt orange I love so much (Go Longhorns!).
Both this top and the pants are super comfortable.
I love these cords…so comfy and light…perfect for any type of fall weather.
These are the STRETCH CORDUROY FLARE LEG PANTS in dark walnut.
The ones I am wearing have a little too much give in them, so I did order them a size down…I liked them that much.
In addition to the burnt copper tee, and these pants, I also ordered the RUCHED SCOOP NECK TEE in dark walnut.
All of these will be happy in a closet of fall outfits built around my autumn palette!
As I said, there are many pieces in the fall outfits at Talbots designed for warmth.
I love this sweater and if I discover my new home is colder than I think, I will consider ordering one of these.
It is the MARL CABLE KNIT MOCKNECK CARDIGAN in the rich cream marl….there are four selections.
It is a beautiful sweater.
I think this sweater is also beautiful, but would look better on me if I had less in the middle.
It is the MIXED CABLE MOTO SWEATER JACKET.
I personally believe it is more of a sweater than a jacket…you could not really wear any blouse or top under it with great success.
However, it does look very chic and style forward alone.
MORE FALL OUTFITS AT TALBOTS: ON DISPLAY
Since this was a Talbots party, the displays were done to give fall outfit inspiration.
I liked seeing a sweater under the QUILTED BARN JACKET.
They did not have one of the sweaters in my size, but I really like this TEXTURE TWEED SNAP MOCKNECK SWEATER.
This is a look that I would expect to see in the community where I am going to live…with a great pair of boots and jeans, of course.
I know there are many fall outfits at Talbots in this picture, but I want to give you the jacket and sweater links specifically.
The sweater is the Johnny Collar Sweater Autumn Fair Isle…two popular styles, fair isle and the collar.
The coat on the display is the QUILTED COLLARLESS COAT in the color combo of spruced up/indigo blue.
It comes in three color combos.
MORE FALL OUTFITS AT TALBOTS: MORE FUN THIS WEEK
You can see more of the fall outfits at Talbots soon at local Trunk Shows…just contact your favorite store for more information.
I was asked to model in this Fall Trunk Show and it made me sad to have to say no…these are tons of fun for the models and for the audience (usually there are gifts, discounts, and lots of style tips),
I learned so much for the stylist who came for the Spring Trunk Show.
And there is even a cookie…or two!
Also, you will hear more as we go forward into October about how Talbots assists with Breast Cancer Awareness.
The party and the new fall outfit at Talbots was lots of fun and I am so glad I took the time to stop by.
San Antonio shoppers, I cannot say enough good things about the Talbots staff at the Village at Stone Oak.
They are totally focused on great customer service…they even sent me get well cards during my surgery time.
Their trunk show is in the flyer I posted…it is fun…get there early to get a good seat…shoppers even came out in a rainstorm for the last one.
Let me know if you have any questions about what I saw and tried on in the fall outfits at Talbots…they are doing fall right for 2024!

For all your shopping, please use the links on my SHOPPING PAGE…thank you, thank you to all who shop this way.
You look great … I loved that snap front sweater. It appears like your new town is more casual and conservative than SA. Minus the cowboy hats and boots, sounds more like where I live. I’ve learned to indulge my love of fashion (while not looking forever like I’m going to a party) by moving my wardrobe to be a little sportier and definitely more textured. Where others wear jeans (or even sweatpants) and a hoodie to go out for breakfast, I feel fine in elevated jeans (or nice athletic pants) and a nubby sweater. Properly accessorized, of course :):):). I’m excited for your new adventure and look forward to seeing what you come up with.
Thanks Linda. I am excited about these cords as a nice change with my jeans!
I’m like Linda….I tend to dress a bit dressier than so many in my small town where people tend to wear pajama bottoms and house slippers to Walmart! People will say “ Are you going to a party?”. As a former high school teacher of 31 years, I know if I do put on a little makeup and dress nicely, I’m bound to see a former student…..not that I would ever wear pajamas out of the house! I really like your outfits from Talbots and know you will enjoy wearing them and looking well-dressed in your new town.
The temperatures here are heading to 105 today and Fall clothes always leave me wanting for cool temps and crisp air! Fall skips this area of the country somehow. It doesn’t stop me from admiring all the pretty colors and new styles, however. One can go to the Talbots site and look under The Edit tab to find out when a trunk show is in their store; Palm Desert, CA will be November 20 and it’s on my calendar. Good luck on your move this week!
I am so excited fall is here!
Thanks for sharing about the trunk shows, Linda! I was going to model in this one, but things rapidly changed!
Our Talbots also had a shopping party Saturday and our trunk shows were last week. This year there were two shows, one at 10 and another at 3 and it was still standing room only! They are very popular here and Denise is always our stylist. All the models are customers and we have a great time. Leopard print doesn’t seem to be that popular in our area so most of the leopard print in the trunk show was accessories. Most of my closet is filled with Talbots and I have to agree that their customer service is simply the best. Loved the cards and box of cookies they sent when I had my knee replacement recently!
Thanks for sharing, Sonya! I was so impressed when they reached out during my surgery. That is exceptional!
You are right about that outfit being perfect for all those fun fall events. The cords almost look like velvet. I love a knit shoe because they are kind to my arthritic toes.
Your new leopard print shoes will look great with that teal, rust and brown outfit! You look so good in it! It was only 67 degrees at 10 this morning when we went out for Trixys walk. It is feeling like fall here in Colorado! I so wish I could wear Talbots pants as I want a pair of corduroy jeans or pants. Their waist is so tight on my hip size I couldn’t even zip or button. I wore Talbots a lot when I was thinner.
I am so excited to receive the shoes. They felt great when I tried them on
Hi Pamela
Wow! I have been catching up with your posts and you are a little Energizer bunny! I am confident your faith will have wonderful outcomes. I admire how you are staying so fashionable throughout! Talbots is a class act and so are you. Happy Autumn!
Sandra in CA
Thank you, Sandra. Certainly there is so much going on…I am listening to the packers pack boxes as I type this!
Watch the packers as they do pack EVERYthing. When my son moved crossed country for his first job, he arrived to find that not only had they packed his trash can; they packed it as was, so he had two-week old garbage in it – LOL
You look stunning in those teal/brown combinations. I bet you will love wearing sweaters and cords in the cooler west Texas weather. They are so cozy. Good luck with the move. Looking forward to hearing you are settling into your new home.
I have heard those stories! I am watching them. We just completed day one of packing!
I am so excited to enjoy cooler weather…and these colors just make me smile!
Good luck with your move.
This Talbot’s try on was loaded with wonderful fall options
Great post at Talbots. The colors and styles are amazing. Saw a lovely model in autumn colors!
So glad you enjoyed it…I loved the colors!
So sweet, Audrey! Thank you!
Happy first week of fall! I’m packing for a week in Nashville, and your teal/rust/brown color combo has inspired me to find some great combos in my closet, without needing a last-minute run to find something new to create the perfect outfits. I have my suitcase in the middle of the guest room bed and a pile of clothing on either side of it; one is the outfits for warmer weather, and the other is a stack of equivalent outfits suitable for cooler weather. Needless to say, I’m rooting for that cooler weather pile to be the one that goes in the suitcase next week, but I won’t be stressing over the weather, knowing I’m prepared either way. Thank you for the color palette inspiration, and continued prayers for a smooth transition to Abilene!
These colors are so beautiful! Happy to inspire your Nashville trip! Have fun!
