Happy Saturday, everyone!  There are only five more Saturdays in the year, so let’s keep talking about 2024 Fashion Trends: Winter Whites!

Discussing 2024 Fashion Trends has been a fun way to stay informed about what we are seeing on the racks and online.

I think many of us have found ways to look current with pieces already in our wardrobes….it has been a fun exercise this year.

Snow is already falling several places, so it is a good day to look at the winter whites trend.

Winter whites typically are more ivory than what I call white white…though you do see some of It out there.

One of my favorite winter whites has been at Chico’s and is called English Cream…it is a beautiful color for those of us who like a warmer white.

Our opening winter white garment today is the TRAVELERS COLLECTION FAUX FUR CARDIGAN...and the color is called Winter White…it is also available in black.

So, join me as we look over the 2024 Fashion Trends: Winter Whites, and see if you find a white you love….

  1. I love love love the look of winter white, especially with camel or red (or burgundy) and luggage tan accessories. Although winter white is usually warm, it still doesn’t flatter me as much as deeper, richer colors. I do still wear it though, and the Tuckernuck photo is so great with that darling muted plaid tote. It certainly shows the power of accessories in making a look that would otherwise be very blah. I also like the elegance of the Chicos embellished crystal cardigan. I think winter white is every bit as elegant as black if worn tonally, especially for those with lower-contrast coloring.

  2. I would wear all winter white and gray all the time but would probably bore myself to tears if I did! It has always been my preferred white and I am definitely drawn to it when shopping. I find it more flattering than optic white, but that’s just based on my skin tone. It’s elegant and beautiful!

  3. I love winter white too. I need to choose warmer tones for sweaters. J Jill often has nice muted warm winter white sweaters. I’m wearing one that I bought a few years ago with a pair of jeans that are the same color as the pants in the Tuckernut photo, what a coincidence! I really like this combination for a toned down look. I also like to pair it with red or camel and of course jeans. I also have winter white cords and jeans which I don’t need to be as picky about the shade. Winter arrived here yesterday with an early snowfall which didn’t last the day. Time to be cozy. Happy Saturday.

  4. I love winter white! I just can’t lean yellowish for my cool complexion and nearly all white hair. I think texture helps. Cords in Landsend catalog in their winter white are on my Christmas wish list. I like a few of the sweaters that Chicos has too. My younger thinner self would love the sweater dresses. A column of winter white would be so elegant for a holiday party.

  5. I think winter white is a very elegant look. Although I have to be careful not to wear a winter white that has too much of a yellow undertone, I do sometimes wear it. Chico’s English cream looks lovely. I especially like the embellished cardigan. It’s nice to the silver embellishment.

  6. In my elegant fantasy life, I can wear winter white without a trace of makeup, guacamole or iced tea on it. In reality, I would be dirty before I left the house, and it would get worse throughout the day, especially if grandkids were involved. I loved looking through these photos, but I finally realize it’s a color I just can’t wear. The last time I was craving winter white I bought sheets that color for my bed, and enjoyed them so much. Perhaps I should use that trick for incorporating other hard-to-wear colors into my life!
