Happy fashion Friday, everyone.  This week, I was excited to attend a Texas Western Fashion Show at Dillard’s.

And this western fashion show included fabulous over 50 models.

Our local Dillard’s in the Mall of Abilene hosted a Texas Western Fashion Show with outfits from their Nashville Shop.

The Nashville Shop includes several different brands with a western bent…such as, Reba, Nashville, Ariat, and Wrangler.

Of course, boots and hats are a must…and some wore hat similar to this San Diego Hat Company found at Dillard’s.

I cannot link to these outfits, but I can show you my favorites from the fashion show.

So, mostly, I have pictures for you today and fashion inspiration and fun.

Let’s put our boots on and step into a Texas Western Fashion Show at Dillard’s.

The ladies were wowed by these gold pants, and there were several ideas of how to wear them often this year.

There were several garments with lovely detail in lace or embroidery.  Just beautiful.

I have not put western wear in our Saturday trend reports, but western wear is definitely on trend this year.

However, in Texas…it is always in style.

You already know that fringe is in the trend report…and there is lots of fringe in Western wear.

I was encouraged to explain more about my SHOPPING LINKS page and how to use it.

I am an affiliate for many different brands and when you click on those brands and shop, then I receive a small commission.

This is such an important income for me and my family.

I have tried to include the brands most shopped by this audience, but sometimes I miss one of your favorites.

If you will tell me what you are shopping, then I can tell you if I am affiliate for them and give you that link…if it is not already on the page.

  1. I really enjoyed seeing the Western fashions. I moved from Illinois to Colorado about 15 years ago and my inner cowgirl has emerged. 🙂

  2. Oh, I loved this! I have a soft spot for western wear (especially jewelry and suede jackets), but around here it can look like a costume unless -much- more restrained than these ladies were wearing. I usually wear a simple sweater with my turquoise jewelry. I loved that embellished denim jacket, and would certainly wear it.

  3. There were some lovely pieces that could be styled down to fit other occasions. I loved the skirts with embroidery and lace. So pretty. Thanks Linda…that jacket it gorgeous.

  4. Great ladies, good for them, they rocked.
You are getting into the swing and groove of your community. No surprise. Your face says approachable. YOU will be the next one on the runway, it’s not happening until you are present.
    Have a WONDERFUL day Pam.

  5. Oooo, so many things to love. I especially like the embroidered denim maxi and the crocheted skirt/ top.

  6. What a difference it makes in where you live in this country including fashion!
Here in the North East our equivalent at this time of year would be LLBean/Orvis type clothing with cozy fireside apreś ski outfits and casual warm choices — think plaids, flannels and turtlenecks.
Such fun to see the differences!
    Thank you, Pam

  7. As a former Nevadan, and horsewoman, I still love rodeo and Western wear. Lovely to see the models having such fun with the show. Thanks for bringing it to us. 💕

  8. Hi 👋 Pamela……….enjoyed the Western Fashion show even though I wasn’t there. The more mature ladies were
a delight to see. It looked like they were enjoying themselves. Thanks for posting the show.

  9. I am a Midwest lady living in the south. I love my denim. Dress, skirt, blouse, etc No booties, however. I let the others wear the fringe, but like it. It looked like a fun show.

  10. Love to see women having fun modeling Nashville style. I bet some of those items will find a home in Abilene. I really like the necklace on the woman modeling the shirt with horses on it. And those boots are fantastic. Thanks for sharing.

  11. This was fun to see. I love a good cowgirl boot but probably a little more restrained than some of these. Low cut boots can be very comfortable with a wide enough toe box and a moderate heel and extremely sturdy. I used to think I did not like turquoise jewelry, but I find I do like a lot of it. What better way to light up January than with snazzy western wear!

  12. So much fun! The lady with the wide leg pants and the brown tee with bourses on it was as close as I would come to western wear. But oh the hats! I loved all the hats except the fasinator. I am going to have to invest in a good wider brim cowboy hat for this time of year. It is sunny and 73 degrees! All of us dog walked in tees and jeans today. Thank you for the fun show Pam.
