Black Friday Notes

Black Friday

Happy Black Friday!  Santa needs to wake up and get with it…so, I have a few Black Friday notes for all of you Santas out there.

My Black Friday Notes are pretty simple today and mostly just items for you to remember.

First:  I am not going to list all of the sales….because EVERYONE is having a sale on Black Friday.

If you go to my SHOPPING LINKS page and click on your favorites…you will be where their sales are happening.

Secondly, when planning your budgeting remember that Saturday is SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY.

Plan to visit a local small business and show your support.

BLACK FRIDAY NOTES: WHAT I SEE WOMEN WEARING

Black Friday

I have been surprised at how many women over 50 I have seen shopping and carrying into the dressing room clothing with BLING!

If you are struggling with the courage to wear some bling, just know others are totally in and I predict we will see more of it this year.

Black Friday

So, your Black Friday Notes might include trying on some bling while it is on sale.

Black Friday

Though it is Black, I did take this one home because I love it so much.

For special occasions, I do not mind straying outside of my best colors…and this top is super fun.

You can see more Chico’s bling in this post with Leigh Ann:  CHICO’S HOLIDAY ARRIVALS.

Be bold, and have some fun with holiday styles this year.

BLACK FRIDAY NOTES: WHAT I WORE

Black Friday

Here is another black outfit I kept when I cleared out my black.

These two pieces are old Eileen Fisher garments and perfect to wear to the nail salon.

I just kept them for comfort and moments like this.

I am also wearing the CHICO’S JULIET PONTE LEOPARD PANTS…on sale for an amazing price…and I really love wearing mine.

They are super comfy…fun…and fit wear.

I have on sandals because I was getting a pedicure this day.

Black Friday

One more thing, I have a new color that I love.

It is OPI Gingerbread Man Can!

it is a great color.

Is anyone headed out to shop Black Friday…I mostly shopped online this year for our family.

Please remember the Shopping Links page….I am so grateful to all of you who support me by shopping this way!

Black Friday Notes

I really did catch Santa napping at the mall.

Bless his heart, I guess he needed extra rest for a very busy season!

Let me know if you have questions on Black Friday Notes….and hopefully I will see you tomorrow…until then…

STAY STRONG & KEEP SMILING!

  1. No Black Friday shopping for me, but I am looking forward to tomorrow’s Small Business Saturday. Last year I had a lovely time in our quaint little downtown shops and came away with some unique items. Our Farmer’s Market recently moved their operations downtown, so it’s extra fun now with the streets blocked off, so pedestrian-friendly, musicians playing, and food vendors. Bonus is running into lots of friends! For today though, easier to shop your links and enjoy a turkey sandwich later! 😉

  2. Hehehe, poor Santa! You look darling in the sparkling fringe top. I trust you had a blessed thanksgiving !

  3. Thanks Connie. We still have not been to the big Farmer’s Market, but I am looking forward to it!

  4. Send picture was just too cute. I like seeing some pictures of you in black I know it’s not my best color, but sometimes black just makes me feel polished. I will be looking for ideas to Incorporate it in my wardrobe.

  5. Great photo of Santa taking his nap! I like the name & the color of your new favorite nail polish, its very my like my new favorite–a good color for us autumns. The black sweater is really cute looks very nice on you. When you wear it be sure to share how you style it. I don’t shop Black Friday but I do make a point of shopping in my small local stores. My only bling is an ancient Chico’s lurex tank in a fabulous bronze color. I have hung onto a few favorite special occasion pieces regardless of whether or not they are in my best colors.

  6. I did some online finished decorating as I work tomorrow. Love that OPI color!! Love your posts.
