Happy Tuesday, ladies!  Today, come shopping with me for Gibson & Latimer New Arrivals at Dillard’s….plus a few extra!

I stopped by the Mall of Abilene to specifically look for new arrivals at Dillard’s and Gibson & Latimer caught my eye.

Gibson & Latimer is a popular brand at Dillard’s known for trend setting designs at very reasonable prices.

I shared some of their warmer weather pieces with you in the last two years, and found that some here like the brand.

So, here are a few of the new arrivals at Dillard’s…specifically, Gibson & Latimer new arrivals at Dillard’s.

GIBSON & LATIMER NEW ARRIVALS AT DILLARD’S: TOPS

It is difficult for me to pin down a particular style in the Gibson & Latimer new arrivals.

I was told that the blazer with rhinestones on the shoulders that you see handging her is very popular this year with jeans and boots.

That is the Woven Suiting Embellished Rhinestone Notch Lapel Collar Button Front Ruched Midi Sleeve Long Line Blazer.

it comes in the black and an ivory color called frost…I can see it as a fun holiday jean look.

Though I saw several ladies walking around with sparkly attire to try on, I decided to start with this sweater.

Out of all of the oversized sweaters I have tried on lately, this one is my favorite for the fit and the cozy feel.

It is the Wool Blend Sweater Knit Ribbed Turtle Neck Long Sleeve Pullover Sweater in heather grey.

I noticed that there are many garments in the new arrivals at Dillard’s in black and brown…a combo I really like.

This easy top is the Woven Floral Print Ruffle Collar Split V-Neck Long Peasant Sleeve Button Front Blouse.

I also tried on the Woven Split Neck Long Balloon Sleeve Blouse in the hunter green…easily my  favorite top in the new arrivals.  BUT…..

It had so much static cling in the top that I could not show it to you.   It is a beautiful top…without the cling!

The sleeves are fun with this top and I do love this copper color.

This is the Moonshadow Satin Tie Front Split Round Neck Long Peasant Ruffled Sleeve Woven Top.

These tops are so good for those of us in warmer climates.

During the first fall sale last summer, we discussed how these houndstooth oversized coats are on trend.

This one is VERY warm and I liked the fit better than others I have tried on.

It is perfect for those facing some real cold ahead.

This is the Gibson & Latimer Woven Houndstooth Single Breasted Notch Lapel Button Cuff Long Sleeve Button Front Coat.

I was encouraged to explain more about my SHOPPING LINKS page and how to use it.

I am an affiliate for many different brands and when you click on those brands and shop, then I receive a small commission.

This is such an important income for me and my family.

I have tried to include the brands most shopped by this audience, but sometimes I miss one of your favorites.

If you will tell me what you are shopping, then I can tell you if I am affiliate for them and give you that link…if it is not already on the page.

  1. I’ve never heard of this brand. Is it their store brand, like On 34th is for Macys? How was the quality? I agree, it seemed scattershot in terms of aesthetic. I liked the scarf you featured (I wish you had tried it on). I don’t wear them as much in retirement as I used to. I’m so looking forward to your dive into “casual with a kiss” for wearing in your new town, because that’s exactly where I’ve tried to land these last couple of years. I never got a chance to comment on that Frank and Eileen jacket with the raw hems. I absolutely loved that piece, and it’s that type of idea I can’t wait to see more of.

  2. Thanks Linda…the quality of this brand is good. I do not know if it is exclusive to Dillard’s but I can ask. I have been posting some of the looks I wear while out and about in my new town and will continue to do so. I also love the look of that jacket!

  3. Like Linda, I think this line is scattershot. The colors are fine, but the fit seems off. The winter coat, for example, is way too long. The bottom would get dirty very quickly if walking, and you certainly can’t drive or commute in it. However, this line gets 5 stars for having the longest name descriptions ever, lol.

  4. Ha ha! I believe that is a Dillard’s thing to have the long descriptions. These long, oversized coats are a trend this year. The first one I showed was back in the summer when fall collections first came out and a few ladies purchased them. This coat is too heavy for where I live, but since there was interest before, I wanted to show this option. Thanks Maeve.

  5. Really liked the oversized grey turtleneck; but, unfortunately, the older I get, the shorter my neck gets. Also the Dillard’s stores are “states” away from me – lol. BTW, which slacks were you wearing…love the flare.

  6. I liked the turtleneck silver sweater. I have a long skinny neck still so can wear them if not tight. So many try to choke me to death! It is sunny and 37 degrees here so warm coats are being used here. But I agree that coat is too long. Practical still needs to be considered when buying fashion. Midi would be the longest I would wear. Plus, I have to wear petite in everything. Dillards has been a favorite of mine for about 35 years. They have beautiful dresses for special occasions like weddings. My Matron of honor wore a lovely dress from Dillards 31 1/2 years ago. They have an excellent shoe department as well. Their nearest store is 50 miles away up in Colorado Springs so I don’t get there often.

  7. Dillard’s always has lovely occasion dresses. I don’t have occasions but I love walking through their dress department anyway. I think the hounds tooth coat is be gorgeous but needs to be shortened to midi length. I clicked on the link and Dillard’s model must be at least 6 ft. tall. The length looks good on her. I looked up Dillard’s owned brands and there are a lot of them. House brands are often a good buy, kind of like at the grocery store.

  8. I’ve never been to a Dillards. I don’t think there are any in my area, Massachusetts . I liked the grey oversized sweater on you. The back of the neck is split/fanned. Very flattering!
