2025 Fashion Trends: Boho Skirts

2025 Fashion Trends

Happy 2025 Fashion Trend Saturday!  Today let’s look at 2025 Fashion Trends: Boho Skirts

Boho skirts are said to be in the 2025 fashion trends…especially in Europe.

What is interesting to me is that most who love boho style do not like trends…they are more free spirits, unconventional, creative styles.

Most often these boho skirts are loose fitting in comfortable natural fabrics…many are in prints, but you also find many that are not.

Earthy tones are also on trend this year for boho skirts.

Let’s look over a few that I found at some of your favorite retailers…I am going to begin with HIGH END offerings and work toward the more affordable options.

For all of these brands, there are more boho skirts available…just use my length to click through to the site to see more.

2025 FASHION TRENDS: BOHO SKIRTS – ANTHROPOLOGIE

This is the boho skirt in our opening picture today…I think it is beautiful and desired to show it…but it is pricey!

So I will enjoy it from afar!

Because boho skirts are in the 2025 fashion trends, there are several eyelet designs on the market this year…eyelet is also on trend.

This is the EN SAISON DELILAH LACE-HEM MIDI SKIRT.

Typically, boho skirts are in midi or maxi lengths…though just a few are designed shorter.

This skirt hits the earthy tones and the maxi lengths in the trends.

It is THE SOMERSET MAXI SKIRT in the brown options…it comes in 8 selections.

2025 FASHION TRENDS: BOHO SKIRTS – TUCKERNUCK

Tuckernuck is known more for amazing dresses and skirts than any other garments.

So you can click through to find many more options on their site.

This is the TUCKERNUCK X STUDIO MAGEE DUNE BREEZE COTTON LINEN EDEN SKIRT in a print called cream botanical.

Featured on the same page as the skirt is a cute matching top.  But I think this would look lovely with a chocolate brown top too.

Farm Rio is one of those brands known for gorgeous boho styles, and Tuckernuck does carry a few.

2025 FASHION TRENDS: BOHO SKIRTS – LOOKS FOR LESS

We have discovered that a great place to participate in the 2025 fashion trends is Old Navy.

This is the CREPE A-LINE MIDI SKIRT in the red floral.  Floral is a popular print for boho skirts.

This flowy skirt is a nice selection to dress up or down.

I can see it with a denim jacket or beautiful soft blouse.

This boho style skirt comes in two solid colors…but I pictured pimento because I like it.

This is the JC PENNEY ST. JOHN’S BAY WOMENS MAXI SKIRT.

It looks more like a midi to me, but is described as a maxi.

At Kohl’s, this skirt comes in four selections…any could be called a boho skirt.

  1. It would be nice if you could point out Nordstrom sale items such as petite pants, blazers with a waist, jewelry that doesn’t tarnish, handbags of good value, comfortable, stylish wide shoes along with skincare that works well.

  2. I will add those things to my list. I also want to recommend to you Skincare BY BRIAN. That is what I wear and love it!

  3. After yesterday’s post, I made a point to make an early stop at Kohl’s. It wasn’t busy, and I grabbed lots of different prints, solids, and styles including wide legged pants, maxi print dress that I could have shortened, boho skirt with tiers, blousey boho tops, the puckered top that you showed this week (not any left in my actual size). Nothing worked but I wasn’t disappointed. I had no intention of buying. I used it it as an exploration and a lesson. I verified what my style analyst told me years ago would be my best and balanced look. I know that as much as I love the tiered boho skirt look with a tucked in tank, the randomly placed medium print in the dress, my body has shrunken, broadened, thickened, loosened. etc in the last 5 years and some fun and trendy styles no longer work like they used to. The Old Navy cut of the skirt would work for me. Slimmer and less fabric. I am a natural classic that plays with the correct pieces of gamine, dramatic. boho, etc at times but I am best sticking to my key structures and playing with color. Acceptance and a smile is key to personal style! Thank you. Pamela. Oh. By the way, we started watching Riviera on AMC+. I am not sure about the show yet, but Julia Stiles’ wardrobe is stunning. All fluid, solid, and beautiful colors. It is a station that has to be streamed but out our Spectrum cable company just included it to their line-up.

  4. Thanks for taking us shopping with you today, Deborah. And for sharing the TV show! There are so many movies and shows that attract me because of the wardrobes!

  5. Thank you for shopping all these beautiful skirts. I am going to try one or two. Have to be selective about length, as my 5’2” frame can’t carry some of them, but I do love wearing them! For Nordstrom, I’m on the hunt for a black blazer of good quality and not too long.

  6. Pam, I am in love with these skirts. Even though I am a classic dresser, these have a romantic feel that makes me want to be a princess running through the forest, haha. I’m petite, so have to be careful, but if I can get the length right, it works. Skirts are so cool and comfortable in summer. The crepe from Old Navy is cute. And the eyelet touches are just beautiful.

  7. I agree…some of them are so lovely and feminine…there are a few that off petite sizing. Thanks Marcia

  8. This is a pass for me. These do not fit my style adjectives, though the deep blue eyelet skirt from Chicos might come close with the interesting drape/silhouette. I do buy from Old Navy (especially their jackets), but I’m always reluctant to purchase their prints because I see them on everyone. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but I feel it makes it hard to style myself with distinction. I know quiet luxury is in the rearview mirror (obvious luxury and glam is clearly in), but I’m really trying to cultivate a smaller, understated, higher quality, more curated wardrobe. That said, if I’m indulging in a trend I think might not really be for me (ex dressy shorts), I do try to buy something inexpensive. You have a nice mix today for those who either love this look or want to experiment,

  9. Hi Linda…I liked your phrase…Style Myself with Distinction! Well said.

  10. The boho skirts with ruffles, tiers of fabric & a lot of volume don’t fit my adjectives or my body silhouette, but the black skirt with the eyelet hem does come close.

  11. So many pretty skirts here, especially the navy Chico’s eyelet and the red embroidered Tuckernut skirts. My style is far from boho but I do indulge in embroidered pieces from time to time. I’ve dipped one toe, tentatively, into this trend and purchased a knee length bias cut tiered linen skirt. Since its bias it is not ruffled and is just a bit fuller than a-line. Its been hanging in the closet for several weeks as I can’t seem to find the right top for it. This is when I miss being about to wear a white shirt. I think once I figure out how to style it I’ll enjoy wearing it.

  12. I love Linda LM’s “styling myself with distinction,” and am officially adopting it as my wardrobe mantra! What a great tagline for this group! You can probably guess that my first thought was “some of these would look great with cowboy boots!” I have a skirt I’d forgotten about that is almost an exact copy of the pimiento choice, and need to figure out if it still fits. I like the longer skirts with sandals for summer, but also boots in the fall. Thanks for so many great options! That blue eyelet is stunning, but I am not sure where I could wear it. I try not to wear full maxi length because it’s been a tripping hazard in the past.

  13. Yes to styling myself with distinction and to cowboy boots with these skirts! You are so right, Lorri.

  14. I love the blue eyelet skirt! The set would be beautiful to a wedding. An evening wedding. The taffeta peach print is lovely and feminine. Not my color palette nor my style but pretty to look at it. I even liked the animal print skirt! Something that I never wear. Some pretty skirts for special occasions.
