Inspiration Looks: Mere Reflections
As I got out of the car at work yesterday, this image caught my eye. The light and the full moon shared a beautiful moment appearing almost related one to the other.

One could think the same of the inspiration looks so many fashion bloggers mimic….one is a beautiful reflection of the other …yet, unique in the eye of the beholder. I saved this inspiration look from Harper’s Bazaar when the Fall 2011 lines were previewed. Obviously, it took me a long time to interpret the look, but I finally got around to it. Believe me, I so wish I had her jacket!!!

My necklace was a gift from my mother-in-law (now in heaven) about 20 years ago. Yes, even then I liked big jewelry. I had it tucked away and forgotten until the inspiration look returned it to my memory. It felt good to wear it again!

That is a beautiful jacket but, I think your look is dead on! I love the necklace and I bet you are glad you saved it!
This is a wonderful inspired look, Pam. Your jewelry makes it so special, and your manicure is perfection!
You look lovely. The necklace is a standout piece. I love things that have stood the test of time.

The first photo is stunning!!! I like your interpretation of the "look" better then the original!
You look lovely! I really like the mixed neutrals and I like your cardigan better than the jacket. Your look is softer.
Adorable as always, Pam. Love the nail polish. xo
Oh my! I do love that necklace. I think you and I have a love for large jewelry. Your piece is very ethnic and so on trend! I'd say you did an excellent job on th einspiration look. While it would be wonderful to have that jacket, your look is just as chic!
Waiting paid off! Your interpretation is gorgeous and the beautiful jewelry is showcased on your neutrals. Also, your nail color is the perfect accessory!
good interpretation of the outfit
that necklace is just fabulous, can't believe you kept it for so long
very cool

You look great! I love fashion but my daughter always tells me I don't dress fashionably. I am following you so that I can learn how to dress elegantly. Greetings from snowy Rome. Would you like some cookies by the way:)
What a great photo!
Pam, I think you did a marvelous job of interpretation. I envy your ability to wear bold jewelry so well. I always enjoy your posts SO much!
Oh! Just noticed my photo there…Thanks Pam!
