Project Runway All Star Inspired

Thank you all so much for your sweet words of encouragement.  When emotional and physical exhaustion
collide, it can take its toll.  But, I am
back to rejoicing that I have one more day to smile, and write, and teach, and
laugh, and enjoy all of the family and friends around me.  Each day is a gift, and we see often in the
news how quickly it can come to an end.
I have chosen on this blog to keep things light, joyful,
inspiring, fun, and creative.  Therefore,
there are topics I choose not to discuss.
Maybe someday, if time allows, I will begin another blog.  I have given it serious consideration this
past weekend.  But, I am far too busy now,
to even consider it.

I have not been able to watch much television in the last
two months, but I still keep up with Project Runway All Stars.  My favorite designer this season is Uli.   She is very talented and creative, and has
really stepped up her designs in her return to the show.  My look today was inspired by her.  She often wears a simple camisole, a fitted
jacket and a fabulous scarf, and that is what
I reached for today…during our finals week at school we can go casual almost
every day, so this type of look is perfect and transitions easily into running last
minute errands after work.  Uli won the
unconventional challenge last week, when she made this amazing dress out of
Christmas decorations.

challenge.
I look forward to
catching up with your blogs!  You guys are just the best…in the last week I have received surprise packages and cards from some of you and I cannot tell you how it brightens my day!

Have a wonderful Wednesday, everyone!!

  1. There are more teachers in my family than I can count. They as well as my family felt the pain so intensely. My husband and I refused to watch the news since Friday and to tell the truth I'm happier for that decision. This situation should serve to bring mental health to the front of all of our minds instead of pretending it doesn't exist.
On a happier note you just got pinned. I just started an over 50 fashionista board……..
I think I'm going to like this one….
