Lafayette 148 New York: A Fall 2014 Celebration with Women We Love and A $1000 Shopping Spree Giveaway!!

I am so honored to welcome a new collaboration to this blog with the fabulous Lafayette 148 New York!  This fall they are introducing their new line
with a celebration of women called WOMEN WE LOVE.  That is all women…all sizes…all
nationalities…all ages…and all occupations. 
You will find a microcosm of all the amazing women they celebrate HERE (WOMEN WE LOVE).
Since I began blogging, over50feeling40 has become a
celebration of women… and I am excited to join Lafayette 148 New York with this
new campaign and, of course, to show you the amazing clothes in the Fall 2014
collection.

When I look at quality, investment pieces, I am really
looking at three main areas:
1.      
Fit – Do the clothes fit me well, and are they a
fit for my lifestyle?
2.      
Fabrics – Do the materials feel luxurious?
3.      
Fun – Are they different from other pieces I
have owned or seen? Do they send a message of strength, visibility and
creativity?
LAFAYETTE 148 New York answers all of these questions with
great design and quality construction.  I
feel more confident in these clothes than any I have worn in a long time.  Soft cashmere, luxurious silks, buttery
leathers, stretch suede, and top-quality knits were some of the stand out
fabrics for me.  They truly are
fabulous….you will not want to take them off once our colder weather arrives!
The fall collection is perfect for my personal style… tailored pieces with a
kick!  I love the camel suede leggings
with the suede on the front and a slate gray knit on the back.  Each selection includes exquisite detailing
right down to buttons and trims.  This
collection tells a story of confident women who love to be visible and
joyful.   I so respect Lafayette for a
fall catalog featuring stories of real women ….just like us, ladies…and I
applaud them for the model-selection decision!
The campaign got me to thinking about all of the wonderful
women I have met in my four years of blogging from bloggers to readers to
retail…all of you are the Women I Love!  So, in your honor, Lafayette is hosting a
giveaway…the largest prize in the history of this blog.

  5. I had never heard of this company but I love these outfits!! They suit you so well. The outfit with the grey trousers and the tunic length jacket AND THAT PURSE!!! is so you that I think you should wear that everyday! Their style is very much what I am looking for. I will check out their catalogue.
