What I Wore to the Fashion Show…And Other Fun Things!

Hi everyone!  I hope all had a wonderful weekend…things are certainly crazy about my house right now!  

I rarely shop for a special event…however, this year I wanted to look stylish, fun and confident for Fashion Week San Antonio!  So, I stopped by DILLARDS last week and found the great look I needed! (It almost became a party with several salespeople joining in the fun.)

This jacket by IC COLLECTION really surprised me…the assymetrical lines made it more flattering than I expected it to be and I loved the gold and red, oriental design.  You can find it on the link provided; however, I noticed it is only in Plus Sizes online.  I purchased a Misses in-store. 

I was super honored when fashion writer, Michael Quintanilla, from our SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS NEWS wanted to photograph me for a street style column he does!  He loved the jacket and these STEVE MADDEN GOLD FLATS…perfect for holiday parties coming up!  Michael confirmed that Dillards is on his must-shop list when looking for something special. Since this was a blogger event, I needed a large bag for the camera and notebook and pens…so I went to the clearance aisle in the handbag section and found this beautiful BIG BUDDHA bag at a great markdown!  I needed this lighter color in my wardrobe any way.  

Thanks DILLARDS…I had so much fun with your friendly salespeople putting together just the right look for the occasion!

  6. I must echo the others, You look stunning! Fabulous jacket, absolutely fabulous. You seriously fashioned it perfectly with your black pants and simple gold flats, this put all the attention on the beauty of the jacket. Yes, it will be a great holiday staple and much much more.

  22. Pam, I can't tell you how much I love your outfit top to toe – perfect styling! The pieces are wonderful in their own right and together they combine very well – you look comfortable too. I have a weakness for pale bags and yours looks dreamy. And that jacket is the ideal statement piece that you can wear often – if ever you get tired of it (can't imagine it) please, please let me be the first to know! 🙂

  28. I LLOOOOOVE that jacket! I am deeply saddened by the fact that you can only get plus sizes online. Lucky for me, I will be in florida in a few weeks, and will make it my mission to visit a Dillards. Seriously awesome.
