This is a sponsored post

OK, full disclosure, it was 102 when I did this photo shoot…but I am so excited about being in on this special COLOR CONFIDENCE event from MONROE AND MAIN, I was happy to do it!

I am joining up with 24 other fashion bloggers to show you color confidence for the new fall season.  And my color is the rich, jewel toned AUBERGINE…found in this dramatic WARM ME UP SWEATER DUSTER and LOLITA CONTROLLED LEGGING.  These will be great pieces in my cold weather wardrobe…with boots, of course!  Here is what Monroe and Main says about the color:
Aubergine is making its way to the forefront of colors for this season’s fashion. That’s why we’ve incorporated this rich hue into many of our fall pieces, so our customers can look and feel confident while staying on-trend. Have you been browsing items featuring this stellar color? Here’s everything you need to know about aubergine:

What is aubergine?Aubergine has been wiggling its way into the style world, making its most apparent debut this season. As such, it may be a new shade for some ladies. Essentially, aubergine is the fashion industry’s term for eggplant purple. In fact, people in some countries outside the U.S. refer to eggplants as aubergines, making the word all the more appropriate for describing the rich, purple hue.Purple has traditionally been associated with royalty and opulence, and aubergine is no exception. Wearing this deep shade of purple keeps your ensemble on-trend with the season while eliciting elegance and grandeur.

I have always said eggplant purple, but I like aubergine so much better. It has been one of my favorite colors for a long time…makes those green and blue eyes pop, ladies.

The duster and knit pants from MONROE AND MAIN are high quality fabrics and great pieces for when the air is NOT 102!

Now, the best part.  You can enter here to win this fun package from Monroe and Main to add spark to your fall fashion.  Then you can visit the other bloggers and enter 24 more times if you like! Just follow the Rafflecopter Instructions and then listen for a winner to be announced in early September.
I can’t wait for fall and to celebrate color with MONROE AND

The colors not only make the dress's "season" span two-three seasons, it also makes it easy to accessorize lots of different ways to create all kinds of unique looks. That makes it very versatile and perfect for travel too! Thanks.
